I just ordered a Black / Black Summit w/o the Platinum option on 8/21. Patiently waiting.

That's the color I'm probably going with as well. But that flatter looking "brushed aluminum" look doesn't seem great in these pictures. Of course, I've been seriously thinking about having just about ALL of the chrome/aluminum sections painted to color match the rest of the vehicle. So all this California Package would do is give me LESS sections to have painted.

Lol that was my plan out the gate until i actually seen the car in person.. Pictures really don't do it justice until it's right in front of you is when you can appreciate the brushed aluminum appearance.. Im gonna wait to spring now to eliminate the chrome and use black chrome accents.. Gonna ride it out until then..

Some minor issues with the sound system ( not sure until i play some quality music ) but one of my speakers sound blown.. Mpg seems a lil low.. And the leather in my seats seems stretched and not an exact fit.. Not sure if i should make a big thing but im going to make a thread about it and also hit up nader to see what he says..

Mileage will get better after the first few thousand miles. I had a speaker replaced because ot was the wrong color one. Just make a list of items. They will getem fixed, if you have any issues wigh the local dealer you work with just go to another one. Many of the jeep dealers are awful you just have to find the right one, it makes all the diffetence.

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

Glad to hear the mileage will improve.. I drove 320 miles on the highway and about 50 in the city if that and i averaged 16.2 so improvement would be great.. As far as the speaker you said they were the wrong color? What exactly was the mix up? I feel like my speakers are wrong just bc how my system sounds...im gonna pm later to really get your thoughts on a few things.. But as always thanks for your input and help

Know what... I think I might have seen a Granite 2014 Summit with Black Chrome at the Irvine Spectrum in SoCal a few weeks ago. It was night & I couldn't be sure as we were going in different directions. The chrome pieces looked shiny, but they also looked darker then I expected. They blended with the rest of the vehicle very well!
