Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

The MY14 late production my dealer has is in Jeep Brown and I am not liking that too much. It's a personal choice.

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

Perhaps the MY11 interior had differences from MY12/MY13.

In 16 Months of driving my Jeep I have only seen 1 other Auburn on the road, and that was while on Vacation in Texas last month !!

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

I currently have a 2014 JGC Summit (white with brown interior). I am very happy with this vehicle and am now planning to replace my wife's car. I am debating between a 2015 Summit Platinum vs Overland with the advanced technology package. Both in granite with black interior. The dealer has both on the lot and I can't decide. I love the white/brown combination, but can't quite rationalize having two identical vehicles.

Summit
- Definitely want front park assist and prefer upgraded stereo
- Somewhat disappointed in Platinum package. The platinum trim is a bit better than chrome, but not much better. Wish this was a body-color package (or flat black).
- I previously had a 2011 Overland. The seats on the 2014 Summit seam to be wearing much better than on the Overland. I had significant wear after 2.5 years on the Overland.

Overland
- Prefer look (wheels, grill, fenders, rear)

I'm curious what the experience of others is with the durability of the Summit vs Overland leather seats.

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

Yeah it definitely was.. Look at the head unit.. My brother has 2012 jeep cherokee overland summit with that same exact interior.. In 2012 the summit was an upgraded overland I believe

Of course it was...that's my vehicle. The Overland saddle was slightly different with a black dash, etc. The Summit got the lighter dash...which I prefer.

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

Saw the Summit Platinum when I was at the dealer yesterday getting the recalls done to mine. I liked it, but something about it just didn't look as premium to me as the ordinary Summit...I dunno...

+1. I think its because of the scratched looking brushed chrome and all the body colored lower mouldings give it a cheap boring look.

I can agree with you on certain colors it does... The grey in my opinion it looks great.. The white I prefer actual chrome..
