No change. All of the v6's are flex fuel. That just means that the vehicle can tolerate the E85, even though imo you'd have to be a fool to use it.

I guess the advantage of the current polished wheels are that if you gouge them up on a curb it can be fairly easily polished out and good as new, just did that lol. with the coated wheels you are resurfacing a whole wheel or replacing. Id still take the color you go there regardless over the polished though it looks really good.

Thanks. I would actually prefer that mine were PVD permachrome like OEWheels sells. http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/...and-Cherokee_7

The polished wheels have clear coat over the top that must be reapplied if you polish them.

I curbed a wheel and had it professionally repaired by a mobile repair guy at my house. $100. Perfect repair and color match.

The 2014 summit polished wheels don't have a coating on them I'm very sure of that I have worked with them up close. The overland wheels may have one i have not seen them so i don't know.

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

I went to my dealer to order my 2015 Summit yesterday but did not because currently the black/sienna brown interior is not available and they did not know why. Hopefully I get to see a platinum soon and they open back up the black/sienna brown option.

There is a clear coat on the 2014 Summit wheels. Or at least the ones on mine have it.

I had a shop polish out gouges I had in one, I stood there and watched them do it and examined it very closely afterwards there is coating on them, march 2013 build. No coating on the replacement I purchased 6 months ago either when I destroyed one on a pothole, just polished alloy.
