Re: 2015 Tahoe????? No thanks! WAY overpriced compared to grand cherokee or durango

GM loves those column shifters every once in a while they put a couple new bends in it but the shifter always stays.

But that's just one thing that makes a gm, a gm

The Tahoe's and GC's are not in the same class, to me the Jeep is the best in its class and the Tahoe's are the best in their class.
I hate to break it to you, but the console cover is not leather and I have a 2013 Summit. It's some sort of nice vinyle.

The console and door armrests in my 2014 Overland are definitely real leather.

My neighbor had a 2012 Summit...his was leather too.

Re: 2015 Tahoe????? No thanks! WAY overpriced compared to grand cherokee or durango

I actually test drove a New Yukon Denali and I personally find it to be a better vehicle than the JGC in a few departments. It is much more comfortable, and the drivetrain is more refined than the Hemi in the Jeep. It also has much more space and power than the Jeep, yet gives the same MPG. Once they put the 8 speed in these trucks (supposed to be sometime in 2015) it'll be even better.
The jeeps interior is a bit nicer than the Denali, and the Denali lacks off road capabilities if one needs that.
I would hardly call the new GM full size trucks pieces of Junk. The new small block is a world class engine, amazing power and refinement and the interior is vastly improved over the last gen. Yes the prices are a bit ambitious...but GM did the same thing with the new pickups. They priced them high to capitalize on the first adopters and then slapped a ton of cash on the hoods. As of now I will likely get a JGC but if there is $10K+ on the hood of a Denali it will be a really tough decision!

They just have no style. I mean really these trucks just look so GM. That new tahoe just looks cheap from the outside. I think they would have been better off just sticking with the designs they had. That new silverado with the 80's headlights... Lol

I agree that the Tahoe doesn't look good. The Yukon Denali drove looked pretty sharp, and I like the way the new Escalade looks (although that is an entirely different price point). The short ones definitely look better than the Suburban/Yukon XL.
