2016 4x4 Summit 5.7L V8: Awesome SUV!

I will be brief: My Summit is an absolutely outstanding vehicle, better even than the 2003 AWD V8 Toyota 4Runner Limited that I drove more than 150,000 miles.

I purchased my new Summit about three months ago, and I now have about 5500 miles on the odometer. There have been a few hiccups, but that is to be expected with any new vehicle. Those bugs have been worked out, and overall I am very impressed thus far, including dealership customer care and Jeep Wave customer care.

Minor modifications so far include Jeep hood deflector, Jeep mudflaps, and Romik aftermarket running boards. (Iwould include some photos but I can't figure out how to copy and paste photos from my iPad to this website. Any help would be appreciated!)

By the way, I recommend the ROMIK running boards, although I had my dealer install them and the technician (who is a perfectionist) told me that the Romik instructions and photos were rather poor and he spent quite a bit of time getting things to fit well and look good.

I had an earlier thread asking about the ROMIK running boards. Did you go with the black or chrome look? Does the cladding still give you a full board when exiting and entering the vehicle? I hope you can post some picks.

Black! Also, they are very functional. For example, my 85-year-old mother can now get in and out of the vehicle much more easily, especially after lowering the suspension down all the way. They also feel very solid.
