Ok, don't have a launch date, but can tell you that none have been built, which means none have been shipped. Also none are in D1 yet, meaning at minimum it will be at least a month or two before production launch...

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Thanks for the rapid reply and your advice.

Just got off the phone with my broker and he's going to find me a MY15 - hopefully at a great price.

I really wanted an MY16 but the wait just isn't going to work for me, so next time.....

Sounds like Oz will be getting the MY16 for just a few months before the MY17 starts arriving....

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

That's what dealer told me. They expect to be selling MY17 in the second half of the year and will have a huge hole in available stock till then.

I can second this. We literally just started building EcoDiesels again.

I actually got pretty irritated with the amount of 3.0NAFs today.

Not "cross shopping" but I did take a look at the GLE on the Merc website recently. It's very nice, but they nickel and dime you for so many things, making the cost escalate to more than $10K more than a very nice Summit.

Bmw and audi are the same way start adding on the multitude of goodies and you are mid 80s real quick. That was what was nice about paying 48k for a 4x4 v8 summit, pick your color, pick your engine and you are done. And the other thing is you are not going to find many mercs audi or bmws giving you 7% under invoice for first takers of new model years just rolling off the line. Compare the actual out the door numbers and the GC looks even better.

Jeep - Build & Price - Select Model 17:48:34.306

Build and Price shows the 75th Anniversary model now, exciting to see this on the Jeep build page. About 46k nicely equipped for the Limited.

Not quite sure I like the two tone tan seats...

That's good for jeeps sake, but my "bottom line" tells me - too expensive - and you can't even get it on a Laredo E or F, not that I'd want it for reasons stated !
Besides, I want my G.C. to go on "Jeep Trails" rated up to 5 (no more, after all it ain't a Wrangler!). Thru out the Western States (West of the Continental Divide) there are fabulously beautiful places to go off the beaten path that an Affordable (affordable by my terms < $40K) G.C. Laredo WITH Adv. 1 option can go (no additional height required, just basic off roading skills).
SO again, it is all just a matter of personal preference guided by financial responsibilities !

Build and Price has been up for a day or two, but recon green is still not available on the dealer's build sheets and the Hemi is still restricted on them as well, hopefully that will all open up on 2/11 as predicted.

Would like to be sure the Hemi will have dual exhaust.

Anyone know if the LUX package on the 75th Limited would have the puddle lights in the mirrors?

I think the two tone tan seats are ok, gives the inside some contrast, wish there was a brown option and/or they had used brown wood trim.

That's a little different than the tone than your last post. I'm all for financial responsibility.

Keep in mind that Off Road Adventure 1 doesn't include the SelectTerrain low-range capability. If you feel you want or need the 4Low...you'll need to account for that in the configuration of "your" Jeep when you buy it. Spring suspension is just fine and many folks like it since they can use traditional lifts for looks and off-road considerations.

However, I do like QL, despite the fact the most off road I go is a muddy parking lot at a horse show.
