None of the three are perfect. Each have their flaws. The Jeep has some serious lack in plastic materials quality. Many pieces felt cheap to the touch (example: vanity mirror covers). The Benz gets pricy quickly, and still misses out on certain features the other two have standard. The Lincoln runs on premium fuel, and these crazy prices won't last long.

My selection for the GLE 350d has the following options:
-Designo Hyacinth Red $890
-Premium package $5,900
-Sport Package $2,100 (is it worth getting?)
-Beige Artico (ARTIficial COw) interior $0
-Beige headliner $0
-Eucalyptus trim $0
MSRP without Sport package is $72,150, and $74,250 with it.

Keep in mind the 2016 EcoDiesel Overland has an MSRP of over $68,000. So on a three year lease, there won't be much difference. Your Summit will be even closer in price (thanks to a crappy exchange rate).

The Jeep will have more gadgets, but go with what you need. I know I won't use mine off road.

My local dealer didn't think the sport package with air suspension was worth it, especially for $2600 option on the Mercedes GLE 350diesel. I owned a new 2010 ML 350 only for a short time but I do know that Mercedes service can get very expensive, compared to other brands.... not sure about the Jeep diesel, so I started a thread in the diesel forum to ask about service costs for the diesel to present owners....

If I did go with the Benz, I think I would go with black or obsidian black because I don't care for that large black grill at the front along the bottom... kind of ugly and overdone to me so I thought it would blend in more with the black.... I would probably go with a black Summit should i get the Jeep, given the nice contrast between the chrome and black (as well, I get the Jeep at employee discount price, given my family member who works on the line at Chrysler. Our local Benz dealer seems like a money grab everytime you go there for service.... that is one of my concerns in the longterm, although the warranty for the Benz is better than the Jeep 4yrs/80K vs 3 yrs/60K.... Jeep should really match that warranty...

I would like to test drive the 2016 summit ecodiesel but none are available yet so I will have to either wait for one or order without a test drive... our local dealer doesn't even have a used 2015 Summit in stock, although I did test drive a 2015 Overland several months ago....The Benz was very quiet though I must say and very refined and felt like quite a large vehicle probably because i am used to driving my VW wagon for the last 2 years.

Will Ivory Pearl be available on the 2016 HA? I see it as an option on the standard Overland, but not for the HA. Unless I've missed it, which is entirely possible 😁

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Hi all. Update on our 2016 Summit. Ordered 12/04/15. Took delivery on 01/29/16. Granite Chrystal/Black interior, 3.6L. This is our 3rd Summit. As everyone knows, not any surprises as not much has changed.
We do like the new shifter and was one of the main reasons for getting a '16 model. One surprise was : now comes with Perelli Scorpion tires. Other GC's had the Goodyear Forteras.
I did remove our Weathertech window deflectors from the '14 and installed them on the '16. One other thing, this year there is a removable carpet liner in the cargo area. We already had a rubber/plastic liner from the '14 which was transferred to the new one.
This is my wife's GC, and she hates the engine shutting off. So she pushes the hard button to over ride that function. It resets every time, so you must push the button on every start up.
Selling dealer said there will be a update so the dealer can "turn off" this. Said maybe June it will be available.
3 different steering wheel "feel" settings. Normal-Sport-Comfort Maybe the '15's had this?
Had the dealer get Mopar mud flaps. Part #82214085 (Rear) & Part #82214084 (Front) Will install them tonight.

Please, will someone post the new off-road pages in the dash? I just want to see what they offer! No one wants to post this for some reason haha

When I hopefully get my 16' HA sometime in the next week I'll be sure to take so pictures for you if it hasn't already been done by that time.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Well, I haven't driven it too much yet, IMHO, it seems to be slightly more tuned to the road. It isn't a big difference, but the Perelli's are an improvement in handling. Also by tuning the steering, it is more responsive to input from the driver. My wife has it set on "Comfort" which seems nice and smooth. If you want a quicker response, you need to pick "Sport".
I guess it will take some time to see how the Perelli tires work out.

I'm not sure what you are asking here. Are these in the dash or the radio? Now you have me curious!
