Glad they are offering a lighter color again in the Summit --- the black and brown options were pretty similar. I wonder if the "tan" will really be the old "new saddle"?

The Bright White looks good with any interior...it really is a nice white and am glad I bought one.
I don't think "tan" will be the "saddle" color. The "sepia" looks like "saddle" to me, but for some reason, it is only going to be on the SRT. I have an equivalent of the "saddle" color in my Summit, and I get compliments on it all the time.

I have been waiting on this info to decide whether to upgrade to a 2015 Summit or wait on the 2016. I want the "auburn" exterior with the "sienna brown" interior, and it looks like they are discontinuing the "auburn" color. These are very hard to find and are at dealerships far away from me. I am going to see if a local dealership will get one for me. That won't be free, for sure. The color info on the 2016s was not available until late this year, and I was waiting on that info to decide, so now, I am going to have an even harder time finding and getting the 2015 I want.

Kayla, you can order a MY2015 in the color combination you want...6-8 weeks later, you will be in the driver seat. If your preference is hard to find, that's the way to do it and not pay extra for "schlepping in" from another dealer outside of your area.

They really need to make a electric blue for the SRT. Always loved this picImageUploadedByJeepGarage1439174964.639438.jpg

Yes, that is certainly a more ideal way of getting what you want. I was wanting information on the 2016 before I made my decision though, and I didn't get that until I saw your post yesterday. I have been looking online for months and even contacted Jeep directly about it. When I bought my 2013 Overland Summit, the next year's info was published much earlier in the year...in April. My problem is now, they have quit manufacturing the one I want, so my only option is to find an existing one. I may just keep my 2013 if no dealer will go get me one.....or take a road trip to get one. Of course, this all depends on price negotiations including my trade-in. I always want the colors that are hardest to find.

MY15 is still in production...you should be able to order what you want. MY16 doesn't go into production until November...it's a "late start" for MY16 and a "short model year" for MY16, too. Is your dealer telling you that they cannot order?

@Milous;
I'm very close to ordering a 2015 SRT (in Europe though), but not sure if I shouldn't wait for 2016 instead, I'm wondering what your "V" tidbit could mean.

Is it a big new feature worth waiting for? Or something rather minor

Of course I'm not sure when the first 2016 SRT will show up here in Germany....

Thanks and best regards,

Michael

I would gather the the 15 GC I should be able to pull down 18-19 on average. And the 16 GC supposedly has 25% better fuel economy??
Somewhat depends on how much your right foot weighs.

Overall mileage [since 1k breakin] coming up on 36K on 2014 5.7 with OR-II is 18.3 and that includes off road with occasional use of low range.

General moderate speed commute is higher, and highway driving depends on which interstate, as mileage does drop a tad on the 85 mph freeways and hwy 50--a brick with spoilers and air dams is still a brick. 21 mph at 60-65 highway isn't unusual.
