Hard to say when they will release image, might be November-December (production of the 2016 models has been pushed back until late December).

They don't usually break-out the dates for production markets. You would though be looking at January at the earliest.

The 2015 model year was extended as the new Pentium engine for the 2016 refresh was not ready.

Can't they get started with my HEMI?

Thanks Milous.

Looks like I wait a bit longer here in Oz. Was hoping to order this year though.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Me too. If I go with another Jeep. I'm now 10 months past the end of my lease and still have no idea what I'm going to replace my current GC with. My current Jeep has settled down now, as have I, after all the original problems - touch wood. I might just keep it forever and not upset the Jeep Gods again.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I have been waiting for the 16s to replace my 14. At this rate I probably will just wait for the 17 instead.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

At the present time, there's been no indication that the Laredo-based Altitude special edition will be continuing for MY16. Only the Overland-based High Altitude is currently on the availability listing.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Hi, haven't seen it in this thread... Apologies if maybe I missed it... is there any indication of which colors will be available on which models? The Summit and SRT, for example, only have a subset of the colors available. I'm particularly interested in the Luxury Brown. Interior wise, I'm still unhappy they took away a (completely) brown/saddle option in the Overland. I think a brown Overland with the new Summit tan would be amazing. I'd "settle" for a Summit if that's what it takes to get the brown 😀

Thank you all for the valuable information you provide (especially Milous, much appreciated, Sir!). Longtime lurker here with a 217k mile 5.9... Needing a fair amount of work at this point.

Mike

That information is in the very first post of the thread in detail and by model.
