Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I am planning on ordering a 2016 G.C. (Overland or Summit) with the Ecodiesel. I am considering either luxury brown or light brownstone pearl and unfortunately, both colors start production in April.

I have seen the luxury brown on a 300 chrysler on the web so I know pretty much what it looks like but the image posted on this site of the light brownstone pearl doesn't give me a good idea what the color is exactly and what it looks like on a vehicle....

Also, I am assuming if I ordered a G.C. sometime after the order banks open, that given that production on either of these specific colors doesn't start until early/mid April, then I should expect my vehicle to be delivered (in Ontario Canada) about 8 to 12 weeks after April..... so would I be looking at delivery sometime around June or July 2016? Would that be a correct assumption?

That seems really late to be taking delivery of a 2016 new vehicle if this assumption is correct....

Pretty sure those pictures are just duplicated from the 2015. The pics of the white summit at the bottom with the cali package have been around since I bought my Jeep back in March.

If the order banks open 10/26, when might we expect 2016 Build & Price, option package details etc. to go up on the Jeep website?

Not before any "official" sales kickoff and even then, it will likely be delayed...as usual.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Anyone know if the Goodyear Adventure rubber comes with ORA1 as well or just ORA2? WK2 website spec page calls out only on ORA2. Not that they are great tires either but it would be nice to know that FCA is at least attempting appropriate equipment on an offroad package.

Nope. Not in the lineup provided by the insiders at the present time. High Altitude continues, however.

I am hoping on or around that time since I would like to see that as well (on the Canadian website...jeep.ca...
it would make sense to post that info at that same time to peak interest if they want to start pulling in orders to build from the dealerships?? but hey, that's just me...

They already have the 2016 info available on jeep.ca for the patriot and cherokee.
