It's also interesting to see the halogen lights with the same shape as the current HID ones (3rd pic).

Maybe Laredo, Limited and Overland are getting somewhat of a facelift based on the shots for 2016. Or they could just be hiding the bronze accents to not give the 75th anniversary looks away just yet.
The 75th will be a MY16, not the 17 that these spy shots are supposedly showing.

I think the stitching is more copper than tangerine.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Just because AutoBlog says it's a '17 doesn't make it so. Jeep could still be testing the '16 in hopes of getting them out before the '19 redesign.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I am assuming it's a 16 and not a 17. It seems way to early to be testing a 17.

You can notice some changes on the front end.

On this picture: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee spied looking refreshed

You can see the current Overland in the back and the one covered up in front of it. You can see the fog lamp contour lines are different as well as the lower front bumper shape.

Only difference I see is the one covered has a license plate bracket on it.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I'm surprised no one has commented on the lack of chrome window trim, which is a surprise for as much bitching about it that goes on here.

Yea, don't expect that on 2016 or 2017 actual production builds; all the chrome will be back, except on the SRT night.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Chrome window trim (or lack thereof) doesn't bother me. I just mentioned it because of all the bitching that goes on about it out here.

Vehicle spy shots don't always jive with the actual production model.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

There is a Build and Price for a 2016 there, albeit an auto blog one. It does show all the colors, options and prices though.

The 75th Anniversary Special Edition that's slated for the Spring will likely have a unique wheel, much like other Special Editions have had unique (in some way) wheels.

First quarter 2016 for MY16. By first quarter '17 the MY17s should be all over the place.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

If you zoom in on the close up of the front end it looks like the black plastic section on the headlight is gone and the bumper follows the contour of the headlight.
