Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I'm to the point now that if it's only going to be another six months I might just wait for a 2017. Give them time to get the PUG sorted out, and maybe it'll have Carplay and Android Auto.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

My wife works for a Car Company that out of 17 dealerships 2 are Jeep. I asked her to check today as we want a 2016 summit. Here is the response from the dealers: "we can order them now (Actually, the next allocation should open Dec 7)"

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Not only would I like to know when will the order banks open for the 2016 but also, why did Jeep delete the Winter Chill color. I thought that Jeep was beautiful. Thanks...

Winter Chill hasn't been available for a few model years now...

Waiting for 2017 ... final answer!

I finally decided I will be waiting for the 2017. Aside from the Summit, I have also been wanting a new camera and long lens. I got the camera a couple of weeks ago, and UPS delivered the lens this afternoon.

This combo was only 40% the cost of a Summit.

You are one sick puppy Bill. Looks just like my fishing tackle.

Gotta include a description. Is that a large format 3.5? And how the hell does the body support that weight without torqueing it?

It doesn't. The lens supports the body, not the other way around.

Exactly.

The camera is a Nikon D4s which is digital in a 35mm format. The lens is a Nikon 800mm.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Very nice, Bill. But that lens is more of a "howitzer"... LOL D4S is no slouch, either...although you could have waited for the coming D5, heh...heh...

I think I'll stick with my D750 and assorted glass and save my pennies for my lovely spouse's new Outback in the spring. (the equally lovely younger daughter will get the current Outback to drive once that's happened and she passes her test on 10 March)
