Yes their Ego Boost engines have bad carbon build up, look at this white paper test report on a long term Taurus

https://www.bgprod.com/bgfueltest/

Convenient it wont be a problem until your out of warranty, note the 2010 Taurus is avg like 19Mpg in this long term test, not impressive but consistent with what is report on the truck boards that the 3.5 EB is a gas pig.

What is the MSRP for the 2016 High Altitude based off the Overland? And will there still be a regular 2016 Altitude based off on the Laredo?? I would assume the High Altitude would see a significant increase in $.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Gemini', I have the impression from previous posts that the current, Laredo-based Altitude is not continuing for MY16, but I could have misunderstood. I do not believe pricing has been established yet for MY16.

Ya, Milous has us a bit off kilter between his clues, jokes, teal deal info, etc...

His High Altitude post indicates it will launch for this model year and continue into MY16....

You are correct. High Altitude as a late 2015 MY and continuing into 2016.

Will High Altitude have off road skid plates electronic limited slip differential package similar to Overland available?

Great, I just got my 2015 Altitude yesterday with Altitude III package. When I got home I saw Milious post. Love the look, plus silver trim console and black tail light bezels. But honestly I was comparing Altitude vs Overland. Damn always something new.

I haven't seen the package info yet to be able to verify. If the launch date of 7/27 is not changed, pricing & package details should be released next Thursday 7/9.

**Just double-checked my HA info**, it's still not clear if all of the features I mentioned will be on the 2015 HA model, or if some will be new for the 2016 HA. Hope to clarify next week.

I totally agree with you. I would be all over the Altitude if it could be based off of the Overland.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I wonder if the High Altitude will look similar to the European models - something like this??

Looks just like a normal 2015 Overland to me... only with ass-backward controls for our friends down undah.

It has none of the design cues that Milous pointed out for the HA.
