I also am able to use that 32Gb flash too. Now I'm going to need another one or maybe I'll just get a big SD Flash card. Funny thing is I am in the process of re- ripping a lot of my cd's to lossless. I set up a system in my bedroom and just purchased a good dac and JRiver to be able to play WASAPI files.
Yeah, wma lossless play fine. Always a tradeoff with file size but storage is to the point u can almost not consider it all these days. I actually read too fast anyway and thought it asked about ALAC encoding.

For quick maneuvers in traffic it's best to have both hands on the wheel. That's the advantage of paddle shifters.

So, as recently updated, it will play lossless WMA's but not FLAC's?

Nope. Not true. There are no dimensional changes until the new platform in a few years.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Any noteworthy 2016 changes to the SRT (besides the Night edition)? Specifically, if I am interpeting the document correctly they are changing the hydraulic steering in the SRT to electric? That sounds like it has the potential to be worse.

I don't have any FLAC or ALAC files. It did play WMA lossless. I will try WAV files later today and report back.

Yes it recognizes WAV files

So when will we be able to go to a dealer and actually look at a 2016 model?

Likely mid-January to early February...production doesn't start until the end of this month. But with very minor exceptions, they kinda look like the 2015s...

Wow, that stinks. I noticed it's not even on the website yet.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Well, it's hard to see something in the showroom if they haven't made any yet. They are still producing the last 2015 orders "as we speak". The web site should be updated soon. As you may have noted, there are links earlier in this thread that point to the MY16 "build" routines, so Jeeps is likely getting the finishing touches ready for starting the sales campaign and changing over the web site accordingly. MY16 is a late introduction and short model year, similar to MY13, although over a different set of months.

Theres also a better brake package, lighter aluminum suspension componets, added options on the gauge cluster, shifter assembly and select knob on thr console.

Now, is the previous mentioned 'Tan with Black accent stitching and matching piping' identical to the current Dark Sienna or will it be a new color?

I'm still hoping for a lighter color that looks more 'uniform' - not like the mix you get with Dark Sienna where you basically have three different colors in the cabin.

Also, the configurator shows this lighter color at an additional $495 where - according to Milous - the (new) Tan should be a non-charge (standard) option.
