This would also be in context with that spy photo where the article mentioned MY17.

That was actually was I was thinking. That new front end is interesting. I do like the new lower facia though, looks more modern. The upper facia with the new grille seems like a step backwards in design. The new front end kind of reminds me of the 2011-2013 GC front end. If they all get the update, it will be interesting to see what the Summit and SRT look like with that new grille.

I was thinking exact same thing about the front of it. I think it will look better in real pictures / real life. I think it might not be drawn to perfect scale, those grill rings look a little off.

I like the look of the 75th as well. That green is one of those colors you need to see in person not on the computer...I'd like the green if it is not too "olive drab". (Hope I didn't miss my shot at the black forest green)

When can we build/price that 75th? If we can already I must have missed it.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Personally, I don't like the shape of the lower fascia. It feels less aggressive.
I don't mind the change to the upper grille, but it does seem softer and rounder.

I had a feeling the Recon Green colour would have a military feel to it. Again, it would be necessary to see it in real life because I don't trust renderings. Depending on how it looks, I'll either get the MY16 in True Blue or Recon Green.

I believe the 2016 SRT also has the black mouldings. And yes, it's about time on the SRT. BMW has been doing that for many years on their M models.

As close to a side by side comparison of the front end that I could put together.

2015 Overland vs 2016 75th Anniversary Edition

Well done, and thanks. I like them both in their respective ways and can live happily with either.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I really like the front end, I can't say it enough... I think brings back the original feeling we all got when we saw the 11MY for the first time. I think Jeep nailed this design, I may have one in my drive way when they become available :-)
