Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee reliability

Yeah, they are expensive, I'm wondering if that is the reason we aren't getting any MY16s. There is existing MY15 stock, and the cost of the MY16s with the bad exchange rate is pushing prices up too high.

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee reliability

Reliability ? Well, so far I have NO complaints, with only 850+/_ miles ! Took a 3 day trip from Spokane to Ellensburg - backroads, well, non Interstate ! Basically not going over 60mph with about 4 small towns slowing to 20 - 30 with red lights (and kept the ESS on throughout) ! Put another 50 miles in Ellensburg during the 2 days their ! When I got home late Friday nite (or was it Saturday morning?) the Digital readout for the trip showed 26.7mpg ! ! ! ! Not a lead foot or light foot, but did "kick its ass" a couple times just to check it out . Gotta say, compared to my 2003 Ram 1500 Hemi, it was not "that awesome," but Satisfying just the same . Very Happy with My JEEP 75th Laredo . . . the "Recon-izer" !

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee reliability

Well, I did it AGAIN ! Somehow I left the V6 running; this time close to an Hour while in a local Mexican Restaurant for an early dinner. It was a day in the mid 80's, but the Ole' Reliable V6 didn't show any signs of Overheating ! So, I pulled up, parked on an incline so After having turned - Oops I mean pushed the Off Button - I decided to use the foot-brake. When I do that (for some reason, habit I guess) I put it in 'N', set the foot brake, checked it by taking my foot off the "regular" brake, then put the tranny in Park. Got out, locked the doors and went in to eat ! Somewhere in that process the Engine kicked on again !?
Beats the crap outta me ? Probably all just my imagination !? I think half the "battle" is Remembering the on/off BUTTON, because with the wheel & my driving position, I CAN'T SEE THE BUTTON - out of sight out of mind ?

I bet you're a helluva story teller in person. I can never follow your posts, you go on and on and I get lost lol not a bad thing though. You're always entertaining.

Op is trolling and hasn't been back. Hopefully he stuck with his boy racer WRX.
