Re: 2016 High Altitude seats different?

Yeah I have noticed that the leather looked and felt different as well. It has a less reflective look to it.

Re: 2016 High Altitude seats different?

I thought I read on this forum that the firmness and/or stiffness of the seats vary between the Overland, Summit, and HA.

You sure you or somebody else hasn't applied any of those nasty interior products on your seats or anything? There is no reflectivity whatsoever on my 2015 HA seats and it looks identical to the 2016 I saw the other day at the dealership. So I don't know 100% if there are any changes, but just by looking at them in person I see no differences whatsoever.

This thread is a riot. So far the answer to the OP's question seems to be, "Duh."

I don't use interior products. I think you misunderstood me. I was saying there is nothing reflective in the HA seats. I have an Overland. I do know that the leather looks different from my Overland to a HA. And fwiw the Overland and Summit have different leather. I wonder what they are specifically using in the HA.

2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude
- Nappa leather-trimmed interior

Overland also has Nappa leather-trimmed interior.

They are listed as Nappa leather in the HA I believe.

Re: 2016 High Altitude seats different?

Soooo then what kind of leather is in the Summit? I think I remember certain parts of my Summit seats had different leather than my HA mainly on the upper portions of the seats. I know the center arm rest was a much higher quality than the cheap feeling vinyl or whatever they use on the HA center console. I actually wouldn't mind changing out my center console lid for a Summit one. That would be a nice upgrade.

Re: 2016 High Altitude seats different?

Summit has something called "Natura Plus Leather", if I'm not mistaken...

Wasn't commenting on that... what I notice to be slightly different is the quality/feel of the leather and that the seat bottom thigh bolsters don't seem to be as high. Not complaining, just making an observation.

I noticed that as well about the armrest. It really looks out of place.
