Ha, you should see and feel the middle console in my parents Limited, I think it really is vinyl.

^^ I think it might really be vinyl in the HA/Overland as well...atleast it feels like it is. Now my 2014 Summit on the other hand had a noticeably higher quality leather on it. Felt awesome! That now has me thinking about ordering a new black Summit armrest console. Plus it will get rid of the out of place looking white stitching they used on the HAs console where as the Summit one is all black. Humm, my next mod maybe ;-)

Funny that you should mention that. When I looked at a white 16 HA with black interior on the dealer's lot I noticed that it had the white stitching on the console armrest. I thought that was odd as the seats had black stitching. It really looked out of place.

My granite HA with the black interior came with all black stitching, which I was very happy to see. I wonder why some consoles came with white stitching?

Re: 2016 High Altitude seats different?

All 2015 High Altitudes had silver stitching, not white, and the silver matches the bezels around the shifter and vents, although black stitching makes sense too, and 2016 HAs have it.

Well silver/white whichever, they look the same. To me I would rather have the stitching consistent throughout the vehicle. I think they did the right thing for the 2016 with black stitching.
I think I will seriously look into upgrading to the Summit console. I do certainly miss that Summit interior now being in an HA and you do notice all the differences, but I knew that going into it. HA interior is still nice though
