You guys have me all excited, I'm shopping tomorrow for one exactly like yours except the v6. I'm shopping Safford of Ferdericksburg and they have a 2016 Granite 75th edition in transit. It's a limited, has the 23k, lux package, ORII and nav for a MSRP of 48,215. Their internet sales quoted me $40,771 + Fees without even trying hard! I bet I'll do better in person tomorrow and close this out especially if I cross shop Koons and Lustine.
It's absolutely gorgeous in Granite with the bronze trim. We did like the white a lot too but finally decided on Granite. I could be posting pics soon too! I think your pics pushed us over the edge on Granite

Here is a photo of it going in to service with the plastic still on. More pictures in better light tomorrow and more of a review soon. The recon green is awesome! A little darker in person than the pictures on the website I think.

WOW --- looks REALLY fantastic! Great choice!!!

I love mine. My '14 was max steel, but I think I like this one better. Defintely prefer no chrome too.

And ugh...Lustine haha. I wouldnt buy from them again if they were the last Jeep dealer on Earth. I'd lease a Benz lol.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

It a beautiful day out and I promised a few more pictures to show the Recon Green color a bit better.

I did get the trail rated version with the Hemi to actually use off-road. Since I had already put 60 miles on it I figured I would also test out all the functions of make sure they worked as advertised. I am happy to report that indeed they work great and I couldn't be happier. My previous jeeps have all been the 98 Limited 5.9L ZJ. While these have never let me down they are just not up to this new beast. Sadly my 2 old jeeps are going to be relegated to just working on the farm. Put out to pasture you could say.

First thoughts:

Luxurious off roading fun! I am so happy with it. I only have one minor gripe and that is with the tail pipes. Everything else is subdued with bronze black and the recon green but the tips... Bright chrome? Its the only chrome showing. Probably gonna be my second mod to get black or black chrome tips. First mod will be rock rails as soon as I decide which ones.

Ascent/decent speed control... Wow. Just Wow.

Clearance going over logs, gullies, whatever in OR2 is great. Glad the skid plates are there.

I didn't have a spotter so I kept it pretty mild and the back up camera came in handy.

I did have to put it into 4-low. I went a ways without but I eventually got to a few spots where hi and auto just didn't cut it. I also found that dry pine needles are rather slippery. Mud setting seemed to help on some of the areas. I was a bit worried about sliding down into a tree a couple of times but it held steady.

I handles nicely on the highway and much quieter than i'm used to even with the hemi. The auto high beam switching is very nice on back country roads and the HID lights are fantastic. I am going to be soooo spoiled now. Another thing I need to figure out is the brightness on the Uconnect console screen. In complete darkness on unlit roads making a tight right hand turn it is really hard to see being somewhat blinded by the display. Is there a setting for that somewhere? I need to look that up.

Hope every one can get a good idea about the color in the photos. If anyone wants pics of other details let me know and I'll see what I can do.

All in all I am really happy and going to stop this post now and go back out driving some more!

Yes, you can set that in Uconnect under settings. Your Jeep looks great.

Looks awesome. Thanks for the report. I have a very similar one on order except I'm getting the diesel instead of the hemi. Even more excited about it now.

Recon Green!, i am so happy to see the color and it not Olive color at all..
Oh, would you mind take picture of your color seat and type bucket or Perforated leather. I think i would like Ecodiesel match color green and better range.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

Sounds like me after I drove mine for a week. I liked my '14 Limited, but the Lux package is going to spoil me. I love the pano roof and the HID lights.

Have you had a chance to try out the LED fogs yet? Mine will light up a city block, I was pretty surprised at how bright they were, especially compared to the halogens from my '14.

Where were you out playing? Anywhere local (and public?)

Local, yes. Public, unfortunately no. The off road pics were on my place. I have 26+ acres of hills and woods with about 8 acres of it pasture for the horses. Some of the Hills are steep with a couple hundred feet of elevation and there are a few rocky areas. I can also go out to a friends property in WV.

I have been to a few other places but the public areas are generally pretty mild like GW State Forest. There is always big dog's or the 3 in Pennsylvania north of Harrisburg: Rausch Creek Off Road Park. More challenging and I'll probably try to hit that later this summer.

Haven't checked out the fogs yet... Still trying to find time to check everything out.

Will post more and the requested seat pics later...
