I used to think the same thing, and then i had kids and found out how forgiving black leather is vs light leather. Again subjective, and perhaps dependant upon where you are at in life.

Plus with light colored leather you never get that scalding shock on the back of your calves....

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

I took delivery today of a 2016 75th edition with the lux and advanced tech packages. It's amazing, loving it so far. Granite Crystal with the beige interior. I was shopping for a white one with black interior but loved the ones I saw posted here and changed my mind once I hit the lot and saw it in person. It's a great combo that I think will stay classic for a long time.

I have the hardest time keeping the black parts of my interior clean, not the lighter colors. "Our dirt" stands out on black, but not on tan/beige or my current "saddle" colored seating. Even when our kids were younger, the same was true. So I guess geography might have something to do with it, too!

Yes, that's true...and it's a deficiency I can live with.

My wife has the Saddle in her 2011 GC... That interior never fails to get positive responses from anyone and it has hid the dirt, stains, and dust very well. But they make multiple interiors for a reason. There is a seemingly rare blue/brown interior on some 2014/2015 Overlands... only seen it once.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

So I went to test drive this Black 75th Anni limited yesterday with lux 2 pkg and 20"rims, and I was pretty impressed with the look of it. Drive wise it's pretty similar to my14 altitude however I'm so used to the CAI on mine that I couldn't help noticing how much it lags without it. Overall, it was more important to see the look and stance of it and I actually really like the black against the bronze. I really want one with the off-road 2pkg but they didn't have any in stock...but you all might like to know that I asked the dealer if I want to swap the 18s with 20s on an off-road 2, they'd be willing to do so.

Congrats on the purchase! Do you have any interior shots that you can share?

The front end is really growing on me. Getting rid of that plastic piece under the headlight makes a world of difference.

Hey, you 3 guys, If only it were a quick hop in the old truck - but you keep forgetting for the time being (since last July) i've been on foot, bus, &/or cab and that will continue until I order & start driving the 75th G.C. Laredo with what ever exterior color (Recon / Bright White) and interior cloth (Dark Gray w/ lighter mesh insert or Tan-ish w/ lighter mesh insert) . Those are the choices and any Combo thereof ! ? ? ? . Tired of the 50 shades thing; my 1500 was the '03 version of metallic gray pearl coat, as was the matching A.R.E. Cap ! The BedRug finished off the interior for CAMPING (yea!) and with a self-inflating mattress and the rest, all was very comfy !
BUT, I digressed myself again; The Closer (of 2) Dealer does have 1 (recent) Laredo 75th (FCA calls it Black interior seating). NOBODY within 300 miles of me or even further is currently video HD showing the TAN Cloth Interior !
MikesCarInfo YouTube (as mentioned before) has the Video - White / Tan
Combo, but to be absolutely sure, it would be nice to see it "In The Wild" !

What is the "CAI" you are referring to?

The blue/brown isn't too rare, I have it! Really wish they had offered saddle or Jeep brown as an option for the 75th, am going with the beige will see how I like it.

Ah yes, Roman & Nathan, the 'Abbott & Costello' of "Jeep-ish-ness" !
They do sometimes have their moments (like this video) but I can't help wondering just how much "support" jeep is giving the TFLcars gang !?

Seeing the Recon in the Moab sunlight . . . boy . . . sure makes it difficult to determine it is actually a Green ! Especially with all that Moab Dust on it !
COME ON JEEP, OFFER THIS UP IN BROWNSTONE, PLEASE ! Pretty please even ! Just say the words (Brownstone coming soon), & I can wait it out - waited THIS long . . . . . . . . .
