Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

Yes there is slight but very nice change to the front end. It looks like a throw back to the original 2011 - 13 model but with the new LED lights. My wife's GCO is a 2011 and I prefer its front and the hatch tailgate window to the 2014+ setup.

Notice the black chrome (forget the name) Jeep logo compared to the grill rings and lower fascia.

Here I am blacking out the chrome, but I can't wait to see a white one with the bronze n black. Might have to change my coloring choice :-)
What does that picture of a 2015 High Altitude have to do with a 2016 75th anny thread?

Also, fwiw the lighting is making the trivalent black chrome parts look a little more bronzish than thy really are. They do tend to look different depending on the lighting conditions, but outside and in most light they simply look dark chrome. I have noticed on gray rainy days they do tend to show a hint of bronze color though. I like it!

I think he is just trying to get an idea of what the bronze accents on the 75th are like... yes the accents on the HA are bronzish. Ok technically... "dark chrome" on a list I saw.

NO Hemi option.

ORA2, yes, Limited models.
Thank you Milous for the 75th Anniversary info.

No Hemi!!!! Dang, I was 95% sure I was going to put an order in for one of these when the order blanks opened up. Way tougher choice now, may be a deal breaker, hmmmm. Am glad to see ORA2 will be available...

Is the 3.6 the new one they've updated some? My wife drives a 2011 and I like it. We test drove a few 2015s with the 8 speed... really nice. I think the new engine got a few more ponies?

The 3.6L for 2016 is the new PUG with the start/stop feature, which I understand can be disabled. Maybe what... 5 more HP? It should be as good as the one currently in the 14-15's.

You know that for a fact? I wouldn't be at all surprised if that's very close to what the 2017 ends up looking like.
