Tint laws are different for each state (and of course each cop that pulls you over). You can google search your specific states tint laws to get a better understanding.

Here in Texas, you can get a Tint waiver. Basically any doctor can sign a form stating that you need tint on your car and then you can choose what level you want. Legally youre required to have 25% as the lowest on your front two windows. With the waiver, you could put 5% if you wanted it. Same with the rears.

Yup, I've been reading about which conditions qualify for a "tint exemption" here in NJ but I wouldn't qualify for one (I do suffer from photic sneeze reflex but this condition does not qualify for an exemption).

Its probably worth noting that even if you get a waiver, that just means you wont get a ticket, not that you wont get pulled over. i had a friend who had a waiver and finally ended up removing the tint because he was sick of getting pulled over on a weekly basis.

I like your rig too!
Where'd you get those front floor mats? They look really 'deep'. Much deeper than the mopar slush mats yes?

I LOVE the recon green, I would have gone that route in a heartbeat, but from time to time my wife drives the 75th so she thought it was a bit too masculine. Recon fits the 75th trim elements perfectly!
OK ? But, 'they' (Lithia's Loonies) told me to wait . . . so, . . . ? No biggie, certainly can't hurt !

Ah yes, the wifey . . . 1st rule of "engagement" - Always keep the Mrs. happy !

I want to upgrade the interior lights to Led too. How much did it cost you and when did you get the lights?

Hey muser, I just got my 2016 75th anniversary last week! It's stock right now, I'm looking for the k&n intake to be one of the first mods I get after tinting the windows. Do you happen to know anything about the right CAI model for the 3.6L or release date? Any info would be great, thanks!

Keep in mind that the 2016 3.6L has a new intake design and is not the same as the 2015. Since the new design has only been out for a few months it may be awhile before one is available. I would shoot an email to K&N and they can likely give you a timeline.

Good advice - emailed K&N and will report back.

Well unfortunately I spoke to k&n directly cause I couldn't find it anywhere, and they told me they haven't made one to custom fit the 2016 3.6 v6 yet...but they would email me a release date when they have one...ughhh

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

muser99, keep in mind that the only "benefit" from the CAI on the JGC is "sound". The OEM intake is already a very efficient design. So while disappointment with the wait is a reasonable reaction, you're not losing anything performance wise.
