Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

New here. Bought a 2016 75th Anniversary Limited GC + NAV. I paid 39,000+tax/title/reg with an MSRP of $44,620. For what its worth the dealer showed me the invoice and it was $42,000+. The car buying process is so convoluted that the invoice in my opinion doesn't mean anything. I used the USAA car buying process to get the $39,000 and the dealer seemed very firm. Today my wife & I have a little buyers remorse about the price (the car is awesome). I would love to hear that we didn't get completely hosed, but its too late to change it if we did and will just have to enjoy this sweet ride As soon as I get some daylight, I will get some photos up here.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

After everything mine was 47k when it was 2 months out of the factory. I felt remorse at first but at the same time they took my 17k loan on a '12 with extreme engine problems off my hand. In the long run, I will pay more than others, because I had so much debt, but I don't have to worry about the issues anymore and I have a brand new jeep . I'm at the point now where I could get a cheap lease in the future which is what I have always wanted.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

The main reason we are second guessing ourselves is that we didnt take the quote ($39,000) from this dealer and shop it around. However, using the USAA car buying service, I'm not sure how much they would have budged.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

I think $3000 or approx 7% below invoice isn't too shabby especially if its what you want and you didn't have to wait or travel across the country for it.

The best deals in the country are like 8% off and no destination or dealer fees but most people would need to fly to get it then drive XXXX miles to get it back home. Granted a cross country road trip in a new jeep would be great but you still have to chalk up miles, gas, time and possible wear and tear. I did a destination purchase once and took a huge rock to the windshield when the odo had less than 100 miles on it.

I think you did great. Besides that $1000 either way isn't going to make a difference 5 years from now.

sadly, it doesn't

I have a 2017 Limited 75th and it's rocking only a single (passenger side) pipe.

Limited only gets dual pipes with the V8 now. Gotta go to the Overland to get dual pipes on the V6. If I remember right, only MY2014 got dual pipes with the V6.

Call me petty, but that was one of the reasons I got the V8 when I bought my '16 Limited 75th. Doesn't quite look right with a single pipe!

Check out the build pages on Jeep.com...
For 2017 JGC 75th Limited the 75th Anniversary Luxury Group adds 'polished dual exhaust tips' regardless of engine.
Looking at pictures from dealer inventory confirms you can get a 2017 75th V6 with dual tips with Lux Pack.
