Who cares about real pictures haha. The updated front end was revealed Jan 6th, when the OP made this thread.

MOF', perhaps it was in the early 1990s, but it did look like that...

My feelings exactly! I am ready to pull the trigger on one if I could get it with a V-8. Anyone know if it is possible for a dealer to get a unique configuration (i.e. 75th Anniversary Grand Cherokee w/V8) if they can put together a large order, perhaps a group buy?

Any chance the V-8 might be offered later this year?

Highly doubtful--the industry just doesn't do that these days. And don't forget that the Altitude (not continuing for MH16) only offered the v6. This is just a different package of features with a different name as a special edition. I suspect it's the reason that the Altitude isn't continuing in MY16...so they didn't have competing special editions in the general price point and base vehicle area. And the bottom line on the engine...most buyers don't want the V8. Enthusiasts and folks with a particular need, yes. But the majority of JGC buyers (the folks that don't post here) are perfectly happy with the V6 offer and that's where Jeep is trying to sell these special editions.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

They are offering the V8 for the Canadian 75th Anniversary Limited Models. Such a teaser. I really like my HEMI, get good mileage, love the power, and really wanted the electronic locking rear end and good 8 speed tranny. Don't really want a diesel, not all stations around here carry diesel and I'm just not sold on them.

The Canadian currency is tanking, so you could probably save overall if you buy the V8 from there and bring it back to the states.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

Might be a good option, looks like base price invoice in Canada for a 75th Limited 4x4 is $36,616 vs. $41,189 here in the USA. Anyone know what it would cost to fix the UConnect issue (not available in Canada), although I'm not sure it is really needed.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

Koons stated that the HEMI was now an available option! I just called my dealer and he was able to build a 75th Anniversary Limited with a HEMI, but it wasn't giving recon green as a color option... Wondering if it just hasn't made it into the system yet? (Recon green wasn't available yet on the 75th anniversary Limited with any engine combination)

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition

If I load the 75th Anniversary Limited out with Luxury, Advanced Tech, and Off Road II, I think the only thing I'll be missing from my 2014 model year Overland is the wood portion on the steering wheel, leather dash, and the power folding side-view mirrors. Am I missing anything else?

Plan on pulling the trigger as soon as the recon green shows in the build for the dealers as long as the V8 remains an option.

Milous --- Any update on if the 75th with a V8 is now an available engine choice in the U.S.?
