Just took a 2016 Limited 75th anniversary home. Came with the extra tech package and Nav.

MSRP was 46,000 and some change.

Leased for 39 months 12,000 miles a year for $525 out the door. No money down. I paid nothing today, not even first month or taxes/fees.

Pretty good deal I think? They took around $5200 off MSRP.

The dealer put it in the HC spot! lol

Edit: I don't know why they are coming out sideways, they are normal on my PC.

Congrats! You'll love it!

It looks like it has the LED running lights and HID head lights. Did it come with the pano moon roof? I might be mistaken but it looks like the LUX package...

 Maybe he put it in the HC spot because it didn't have ORA2? :p

Nice ride!

BIG THANK YOU TO CROM. . . & JIM for answering-up about my rant/cry fest on TIRES ! !
crom . . . , your absolutely right, I (finally) priced a Limited 75th with the ORAII and even saw the photo change wheels to the 18"'s !
Jim, when I went to Michelin.com, checked on those tires specs & they too have an OD of 30.5" as do the Goodyear AT Adventure w/Kevlar (the ones I want) !
SO, all boils down to "insisting" I get the tires I want or no deal, even if it means going out of town . . . which means doing most of the negotiating via email !
Now THAT will be a new experience ! ! !
It would be great if the dealer could "special request" - pretend I have a Limited with ORAII on the assembly line - & have them put the 18"s with the Goodyears on my Laredo ! Can't hurt to ask ?
AnyWho, Much appreciate both of your inputs . . . as you know (?) even getting to a dealer, without wheels, IS a real pain in the arse ! :)

#244 ·
All of the OEM tires have a general diameter of ~30.6" regardless of brand/model. And there's no way for Jeep to change that in the computer system, so if you up-size, your odo and speedo will be off slightly. And you'll need to replace your spare with a same-diameter tire, too. (required for 4WD vehicles)

Rumor has it you can use a Diablo tuner to adjust for the up-sized tires in the vehicle computer, but that's a pretty expensive proposition... ;)

#245 · (Edited)
JIM, are you saying that upsizing is a real PAIN ? Yea I knew there was some ODO recalibrating that needed doing, & "assumed" the Dealer could easily do that ? Truthfully I do not want to upsize like so many of the others here, like Alludc's 33's. What I'd really prefer is to get the 75th-Wrangler's bronze 17" wheels which look very similar to the 18's of the G.C., but again just to keep it "simple" for now, I'll stick with the 18's and hope I can "finagle" a 5 set of those AT Adventure w/kevlar by Goodyear! IF, in the near future I come up with a few bucks to spare, I'll spring for those 17's IF THEY FIT WITHOUT ALTERATIONS NEEDED ! ? :)

ps; now that I think of it, I'll go check what the OD is on the same size tire used on the Wrangler 75th, which I believe ARE those same Goodyears I want ? They're probably not even 265's, but with a sidewall of either 70 or 75, the OD may be closer to 31.1" ? Something to do besides watching blah TV on the Internet !

If you put the Wrangler on your spare, it may be wide enough to disallow the cover to close over the compartment. The JGC full size spare is on an 18" wheel, but while the tire is the same ~30.6" diameter and rating, it's narrower in profile. 'Just something to know in case it's important to you.

There have been many, many discussions about tire sizes, etc, in the forum area up above that focuses on tires, suspension, brakes, etc.

BTW, don't make assumptions about anything...you will get burned... ;)

#247 ·
Burned ! Ouch, so true . . . Bootcamp, 1st thing drilled into our heads - Make NO assumptions, Ever, Period ! Sometimes I don't catch myself using That Bad Word ! + I would NEVER not change the spare to match the rest ! Common sense, especially if off roading ! Believe it (or not) I DO have lots of C.S. !
I was born a "Nit-Picker," that gene must of come from dad [never got to meet him] cause mother wasn't, hee hee. What ever wheel / tire sizes come to be, the choice will be within that OE range of 30.5" / .6" - so it will fit in the spare compartment, & if by chance it may be to wide to close, "air down"! Will have my Compressor at all times & a tire repair kit too ! See I'm not as think as you dumb I am ? Hee hee !

PS; been trying to get a Milous answer confirming (as per his 2016 pg.1 mention of the "Orders Close date of May 6th" ! We / I have had talks about it perhaps on another thread, but the conclusion was (by Milous) I could order in June ! That may of been in reference to a 2017, I just don't remember !?
MY CONCERN is will any date after May 6th be TO LATE to order a 2016 75th G.C. ? ? ? Thanks Jim . :)

I'm going to gamble and wait for the 2017. I basically want exactly what Vanguard got so I hope they carry over the front and lights into the next model year.

#252 ·
Ordered my 75th 2 weeks ago as custom build. Didn't have exactly what I needed and waiting for other car to come off lease 2 months so should just be right time to swap. Ordered black limited 75th
Lux Group
Nav
Advance tech
Perf leather

Saw 2 versions at dealer looked great can't wait to get.

Have to note, that's one great looking ride, won't be buying one though as we just added a brand new '15 late last year, but can see me buying an 80th as I will own this '15 free n clear by then.
Our '90 Wrangler will always be with us,a lot of fun, happy memories,as will or '08 Liberty(incredibly reliable little SUV),the '11 JGC will be here for good too,an uber reliable and faultless, comfortable, great looking Jeep. The '15 might be a tougher sell to my wife, even though she now is the full time pilot,if she knows I intend buying a fifth Jeep, she would flip out if I bought a 75th,and it WOULD have to go,so figure if I buy an 80th there will be less of a..........dispute.But gotta say,I want a 75th BAD.I just think everything,to me,is well thought out and the detail is awesome.Would love a Green one.So all of you that have ordered one, just know at least one person here is very happy for you, envious, but very happy.I dunno, maybe I can slide it by her,the more I read up about them and look at pictures, the harder it is to resist.

I have a 2014 Limited with the 18" wheels but will be downgrading to a Laredo with my next 2017 GC, as I am looking to decrease my monthly lease payment. So I'm liking the wheels on the 2016 75th Laredo. I hope the 75th Laredo wheels will be the wheels on the 2017 Laredo, as the 2014 17" Laredo wheels are very plain looking.

#260 ·
That is very unlikely as the wheels on the 75th Anniversary are part of the special edition which is unique and limited time availability.

#264 ·
I'm sure is has been mentioned plenty of times, but I was at a dealer killing time and saw several new 75th's. Pretty cool that they get the new LED fog lights (the SRT ones that I retrofitted to my '15 HA).

Pulled the trigger myself on Saturday.Turned in my 2014 Limited a few months early and picked up a 2016 75th Anniversary Edition Limited. Lux group and Advanced Tech, V6 with pano-roof.

The first offer from the dealer was $650 a month for a 36-month lease 10K miles, Zero down. I looked at the sales manager and told him to get serious and not to waste my time. I reminded him, this was my 4th vehicle from them in the last 12 years.

I should note that they called me asking me to come down to take a look since my 2014 was in high demand. They mentioned with the 20K miles on my '14, I was in a really good position to get a great deal on a new 2016.

They asked me where I wanted to be and I told him under $500. He told me he couldn't make those numbers work. I thanked him for his time and started to walk. As I was getting into my car, they came out after me asking me to give them a few more minutes. I agreed and a short time later I was driving off the lot in my new vehicle for $0 down, 10K 36-month lease at $498 a month and they threw in free oil changes for the entire lease. Not bad for a $48K MSRP vehicle.

It amazes me that they tried to get me to pay $152 more a month and amazes me even more that they try to get anyone to pay $650 a month for a 36-month lease on a 48K car.

Here is a crappy phone pic. It was snowing when I got this home a few days ago...

Picked up a Laredo 75th Anniversary last night, went back and forth a bit on the Limited but didn't like the quality of the standard (non-perforated) leather seats on the limited and don't want a pano roof (Texas sun) so that ruled out the lux pkg to get the ventilated seats on the Limited. Also like not having the auto rear hatch, used to fight with that damn thing on our '15 overland when I just needed a quick open to thrown in a small bag.

If I get tired of the cloth I will go with some Katzkins later down the line and get some stitching or inserts to match the 'tangerine' accent stitching throughout the interior. Sister did Katskin on her 2006 grand and after 10 years the leather wore better than any OEM Jeep leather I have seen.

Really like that Jeep now puts proper tires on the car from the factory with the Michelin Premier LTX and just really like the way everything comes together on the car with the bronze and blacked out trim as well as the fact that the wheels will look cleaner longer with the low gloss paint. Debating debadging the 75th icon beneath the GRAND CHEROKEE door lettering - that seems a bit busy.

Went back and forth as well between Recon and Granite - at the end of the day granite won out.

Upcoming mods:

Llloyd berber II mats all around and cargo area
Speaker upgrade
Might do the NAV activation via the dealer - debating as I do like the traffic colors on the interstates.

Love it. I have a 2014 Limited in the same color. My lease is up in Oct but I may just trade it in early. I'm wondering if those 75th Laredo wheels will be the wheels that come with the 2017 Laredo. I hate the 2014 - 2016 Laredo wheels. If not, I may just try for a 75th anniversary Laredo instead of waiting for a 2017.

I kinda feel like not many people are picking up Jeeps with the off road packages any more. I ordered my 75th with ORA-II, and in looking around, that seems to be the far exception. My '14 Limited came with ORA-I and I didn't have to order it or go to another dealer, my '12 with ORA-I had to come up from a dealer about 200 miles away.

#283 ·
I got the same impression. We ordered ours with ORA-II because I couldn't find one anywhere. But then again I also wanted the Lux and Adv Tech packages with a Hemi. Finding all of that together proved to be impossible. Surprisingly, I had to talk to several dealers before I found one who would order one for me. Most of the dealers seemed very eager to sell what's on the lot, but would flat out say that they didn't want to order one. Oh well, I pick mine up this morning :D

#293 ·
75th version aside, they probably don't just to keep it from undercutting the Overland. Same reason that even though you can get a limited with ORAII, Adv Tech, and lux you almost never see them on a lot. Or an Overland with Adv Tech, and HK audio. Jeep would rather sell you the more expensive version.

The thing that still puzzles me is why did they shorten the 75th model year so much. I know they wanted to put the new v6 in place, but Feb-May is a really short year when it is your anniversary that you have made a big deal about. Oh well, I guess it just makes mine a little more special....

So just pulled the trigger on the 75th anniversary. Black on black limited with luxury pkg...$47k and change.
$1800 out of pocket and $409 a month. Dealer basically broke it down for me as far as taxes and fees.
1st month payment and dmv fees/plate transfer would be around $1k and taxes on a 36m lease is around $800 bucks, I decided to pay everything now and bring the monthly payments down.
Taking delivery Monday!!!
Many mods coming...stay tuned!
