Most likely in Detroit (NAIAS). For many reasons.

Don't know if any of the Gurus here can answer this, but does anyone know if it's a strong likelihood that the bolt pattern for the wheels will be the same for the 2017/2018 new GC.

But that was last month. A lot of OEM's unveil things at NY so I have my fingers crossed.

That's what I was thinking, too - unless he was talking about the ALL-new MY18...

I'm hoping the grand wagoneer is a lot bigger as its supposed to compete with Tahoe, suburbans, and escalades. At least offer an extended model such as Yukon does. Durango size you can only use the trunk space or third row seat. Not both at the same time. Can't even fit a full order of groceries with third row up.

LOL... better yet, what army are they feeding that they can't get all the groceries in with the 3rd row seat up?

Haha. Well the main need for the space is for traveling. With the wife, 4 kids, two dogs, and trailer, the space is needed. I travel quite a bit with the family, and third row is needed. Also need a trunk space large enough for the two dog (yes they come too - lab size). Then all of our contents in the enclosed trailer. I really don't like the setup of Chevy/GMC compared to the Jeep.

And fyi, with the third row seat in the sitting position you cannot fit anything in the trunk space. Suburban / Yukon XL extended are the only current options and I'm not a fan as much as my Jeep.

BTDT - We stopped at 3 kids, had a large German Sheppard and a small cat, toys, bikes, road games, coolers, oh yeah baggage... sometimes a roof top carrier and a carrier on the hitch. We did it in a 97 GMC 4x4 Suburban we had bought new. I put Bilstein shocks on it to tighten it up. Tan leather interior. It was sweet. 15-16 mpg downhill with a tailwind. Loved every minute of those trips. Now my wife drives a GC Overland V6. Great cars both and well suited for the time and place.
