Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

Both SRT and Summit are unique trim levels ... it's not likely that those "looks" are going to be available from the factory without the premium underpinnings. There certainly is room for technological advancement under the hood that provides equal or greater performance with better fuel economy and emissions, but I'd guess that might not come into play before the "real" platform refresh for MY18, if at all.

I'm sure it would increase sales for them.

Audi and Mercedes do this with the

I love the sporty look but I don't all that power.

Actually I do want the power but ...
BMW's been doing that lately with M Sport package on the lesser models that don't deserve the M symbol. Just cheapens the brand. But they are all so hungry for money, they will try just about anything.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

I might buy a 2015 Summit off of the lot in the next week. Are the changes big enough that I'll have major regrets not waiting?

You will.
People always do.

This will happen...you will be in a Dunkin donuts drive thru and see someone open their flipper glass to store 12 donuts.
At the same time you will get a glimpse of the 9 inch carplay Apple infotainment screen.
Won't bother that much but what will put you over the top is when the WK3 blows by you with its twin turbo Pentastar engine.

If the price is right ,go for it

Thanks Milous, haha. Any chance of a rear ELSD or locker option with that PUG?

Several Chrysler vehicles will intro the option for the 2018 model year. It's possible that some could have it sooner.
