I noticed that too. When I bought my '14 the CRD wasn't available (yet) and I couldn't wait any longer. Now, as I'm looking to replace my GC with another, the diesel is again not going to be available (in the new model) when I purchase. Frustrating.....

We've known for a long time that there was going to be something new with the CRD. It is not unusual for new things to take Chrysler a little longer than expected. The same thing happened when they made changes to the V6.

I much prefer to see delays, than problems created by rushing things. What hurts is when after a long wait the new product still has issues.

On the Trailhawk, to get dual exhaust, do you need the v8/Diesel or is it standard? Also, the Trailhawk was supposed to get 20 inch wheels as an option but I don't see them listed. Any ideas?

As Milous mentioned already, he will not know that information until, perhaps, late today.

Special Editions come and go, however...

According to the dealer release, "Altitude" available October. Not sure if this is HA or just "A"

That is my story too. I ordered my '15 Summit, wanted a diesel, but couldn't wait. My Summit had some electrical problems and I had an Overland diesel as a rental and I really liked it. So I decided to order a '17 Summit diesel and was ready to call my dealer and now this. I think I will wait this time since I am already driving an awesome vehicle!

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Thanks for the updates! I really think the Trailhawk will be my next vehicle. Does anyone know if the RC3 9 Amplified Speakers w/Subwoofer listed in the standard equipment sheet is the same one as what is in the Overland?

Nevermind....I found it. It's the same system as what you can get in the Limited.
