Maybe they'll rebadge with 'seventy six years'
At least they don't have to change 'since 1941' steering wheel

Looks like the next generation of Bluetooth is going to be announced next week, wonder how/when this will be implemented into cars - more bandwidth = a good thing.

Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk
Have been trying to get clarification on the 20" Wheel Option for the last two days and have not received confirmation one way or another. According to all the ordering information from Jeep, this option no longer exists. If this is true, I will need to change my order from a Trailhawk to the new Altitude available in October. I love the looks of the Trailhawk, but can't live with the standard 18" wheel design. I'm not an "Offroad Guy"......it's all about the looks for me.

I remember when they first announced this there were marketing shots floating around of the prototype sitting on 20s in that style wheel so not as though it were a random typo. But did they carry it to production or drop it that would be the question or maybe it would be released and add later as they do with some options it seems. I think there are plenty of people that want to look the part but not play the part like you so I would think there would be some demand for that. Milous is probably your best source for info on something like that if the dealer know nothing.

Don't get too excited with Jeep. It should make it on the platform sometime around 2085 if it is announced next week.

If you want the TH but with 20" wheels, if Jeep doesn't end up offering that, why not just equip with aftermarket wheels and tires that you like and sell the brand new JGC wheels and tires to recoup a good chunk of that cost. That way you get what. And if there is an "Altitude" special edition released in the future, there's no way to know if it will be equipped anywhere as nice as the TH. Remember, TH is a separate trim level with unique features not available on other JGC trim levels, such as the suspension mods.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

This link, shared by @Milous upthread, shows:

Style 29. (TBD) - 20" x 8"
Polished machine cast-aluminum with low gloss painted pockets P/N TBD (center cap = p/n TBD)

...as optional on the 2017 Trailhawk.

"TBD" not being the actual part #, of course, so maybe they're still a figment of someone's imagination. FWIW, the Trailhawk "mini brochure" also says "Standard 18-inch wheels with available 20-inch painted wheels."

Woke up real early this morning (for a Saturday)and was bored so I headed to the dealers lot around 6am to check some vehicles out. The same billet silver HA sitting on the lot now for 6 months ...so tempting. The CarPlay demons are holding me back though. If Jeep doesn't release a HA MY 2017 I have no idea what i am going to do. Buy an overland and black it out? Buy a summit? Or just buy a 2016 HA with no CarPlay. I know the 2017s don't have it yet but I am holding out hope for it still later on...

**EDIT**. Just saw this in the updated OP

Altitude model (October 2016)

looks promising now :-)

I bet the really lower the premium for the diesel when the the new one comes out.

BMW only has a $500 premium for the oil burner.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Still interested in seeing the feature availability PDF and standard feature comparison list when they are ready to make their appearance on wk2jeeps.com. I am definitely waiting for the first production units to hit the sales rooms to see about carplay and see the new summit interior in person to see if the laguna leather is worth it (and if I like the color).
