ps; edit - wonder if the Recon Green is carrying over into 2017, as the 75th's are ?

Yes - Recon Green carries over.

Nice to see a fellow "down Stater" ! Silly me, they probably don't call us that in 2016 !? Of course to be more accurate I was an Islander, Born & raised, but decided to expand my worldly view and left in 1973 (for the most part !).
There is Always a warm spot in my heart for "the old country" !

And we have the same Recon Green 2016! The color variations on the green are incredible. I do love the color when as you say it is full bloom. I really wish it didn't get so dark depending on the light. I don't like very dark cars because of all the dirt they show and now I have one of them. With that said - I do love it though! They made some nice improvements over the 2014 - I'm pretty impressed with Jeep on the subtle enhancements to the EVIC and Uconnect integrations and finally the tranny seems very refined! I've had it just under a week and loving it!!!

I had this question on another thread, does anyone know?

1. 18" wheels.
2. No headlight washers?

Leather dash

Body color painted lower fascias, rocker panels, fender flares, and side sills.

Headlight washers? (I don't even like these).

Front park sensors?

Assuming that the trailhawk is similar to the limited with lux, it will have the leather center armrest, upper doors and heated rear seats.

I've yet to hear any V8 that sounded like the boxer 6 in my 911. Or heck, for that matter, like the Yamaha V6 in my old Taurus SHO.

Come on. 6-cylinder engines can and often do sound OK. 4-cylinders sound like, well, 4-cylinders.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Although the SRT production date slipped, I view it as good news as it probably further assures that the V6, V8 production line will actually start just over three weeks from now. I am eager to see how the new summit will look and give it a test drive so I can compare to other brands 2017's before I buy.

Jeep could have saved me some trouble from shopping around, but then they decided to put in the old, antiquated, low-resolution, resistive screen without android auto in. Still not sure I will be able to get past that when there are other options out there. We'll see in a couple of months!

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

A great marketing tactic for Jeep would be to offer the upgraded radio free of charge when available. Buy the 2017 now and we will replace your radio with the new version when available.

Dodge did a promotion with their Charger/Challenger when they were about to release a new body style (or update). You could lease it for a year and when the new ones came in they would swap out your car with the newer version. A radio swap would be wayyy cheaper than a full vehicle swap.

(id also settle for a low upgrade fee. $299 to get the new radio installed in any 2017 Grand Cherokee).

That would get me to order today. (Well, once I figure what wheels will come with OR-II on a Limited.)
