True, I guess I was referring more to the steer itself under certain scenarios autonomous capabilities. Like the new Volvos and Audis have.

I still don't understand why as you go up in trims you go down in color choices. I guess I can understand why they might stock fewer colors, assuming they sell fewer of the high trims, I don't know why they can't let people order the colors they want if they offer them on the same car. I would really like one of the blues, but not available on the summit.

That's exactly what I don't understand. I'd love to have the color choices like on the Overland - so they are already there. It can't cost that much more to offer them on the Summit, right?

A lighter interior would also be appreciated - like the frost beige on the Overland. The dark brown and the black aren't that close apart and the tan is just a mix of too many colors for my liking. And of course, the tan isn't exactly 'light', either..

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I love the light frost beige in my overland. Gives the interior such a bright and clean appearance. It's one of the main reasons I went for the overland instead of the summit.

The two tone light interior they have now is a bit too orange for me. I hope they start putting lighter interiors into the my17 summit. I'd buy immediately

My guess for another new for 2017 feature. Pulling from the Cherokee here again:

Heated Wind shield wiper fluid nozzles

Minor, but if lane departure and park assist is coming maybe this feature as well?

THIS. Pretty much every other luxury vehicle on the planet offers an ivory or beige interior and that would absolutely be my preference for my next Summit. I don't mind the new saddle/current equivalent, but it's got way too much black for my tastes and that black is a PAIN to keep clean. Dirt isn't black...it's much lighter than that...

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I did not figure out the mountain comment but I did see that the Trackhawk term is a package for the 2017 SRT and not what the hellcat GC will be called. The SRT is also getting new colors for 2017, so I am assuming the lower models will as well.

Scott, there are three "Jeep trackhawk" groups on Facebook... But I think I've identified yours.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

How close am I on the 17 trailhawk. Are these the seats that will be in the trailhawk ?

I bet there is also going to be some kind of select-able front and or rear locker with sway bar disconnects and the body clading and fender flares will be just bare black plastic for off road use , hopefully it will be able to be ordered without QD2 and the air suspension, That way it would make it easier to add the lockers with open diffs and a proper coilover suspension.
I'm just thinking out loud but Milous noted that this will be a independent model so hopefully its just not a appearance package on a overland.
