Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

one thing I'm not understanding is the "blackout"grille with inserts across the board... I like it on the Trailhawk but the Summit needs a body colored grille with the inserts.. am I alone on this? lol

I think I would feel the same if I wasn't getting black, but think it will all look pretty seamless with that color. Can paint the inserts easy enough if I get tired of the look.

^^ That's the ones; they look comfortable. I tend to slide around in my '15 Limited's seat.

Yeah, I think it should be body colored on the Overland and Summit, since the fascias, rocker panels, and wheel surrounds are body colored.

I'd go with the silver rims. They'd look great with all of that silver trim. I started a thread on that when I was thinking about getting a Summit. A white California pkg with silver rims. It hasn't been done yet but everyone is doing black wheels. Not that I don't like it, but the first mod people do is black wheels. The California pkg with all of that silver-ish trim is begging for something more creative then a black wheel. (And I'm very pro black wheel)

Thanks! Great response. Only thing that slightly bothers me is that 90% of the cars you see have silver wheels from base model Chevys to lux rides, so black still sets itself apart in that regard. However you are right on the deluge of black wheels now too - lol

Thanks a mil for all of the feedback guys! Sounds like everyone that responded likes the hyper vs black - surprised me a bit honestly - haha

I bet the silver would be a bit easier to keep clean - another bonus

Will definitely post pics once the ride is delivered and wheels are installed (and stocks are on Craigslist- lmao)

I'll be picking up a 2017 Summit EcoDiesel 4x4 with the upgraded laguna leather, will anyone else be doing the same?

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Thanks for the pics. Did you come to terms with Craig? Hopefully you did.
Also it looks like the Overland got the LED fogs!! (Just checked Milous's 2017 equipment PDF and it does confirm that)
