That's the problem, it's six months old already.

Seriously, I didn't follow it too closely when it was introduced. Did they switch over to the electric steering with the Anniversary Edition?

The switch to electric steering was across all MY16's.

I'm glad to hear that. I guess it has worked out OK.
So I will be getting tried and true features.

I really love the selectable steering modes (normal, sport or comfort) it brings. I run mine in sport mode and it's a world of difference from the sloppy steering I had in my 14. I think you'll be very happy with it.

Does it stiffen the steering wheel or xhange the amount of travel required or both?

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I've seen both a silver and white 17 Overland in person. I'm a previous owner of both a 2012 and 2014 Overland. I love the front end changes.
The cutout for the trailer hitch looks a little square but I'm nitpicking.
Overall I love it and will be trading in my RAM diesel to go back to an Overland as soon as the updated radio is available. Does anyone have any updates on the new radio. I'm a big fan of Android Auto and a higher resolution screen doesn't hurt either. If I can figure out how to post pics I'll share the pics I took.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Please forgive the pictures. I was driving to a meeting (already late) and saw a truck unloading at a local dealership. I snapped some quickies with the sun behind me.

I do believe this is a 2017 SRT8; as it was on the top level, I could not see the window sticker.

It didn't seem right to post pics of a SRT8 and Summit together. Below is the
Ivory 3-Coat with Cali/Platinum package. The picture of the rear-passenger corner is with the sun at my back. If you zoom in, you can kind of see the pearl.

Guessing this is a Summit Velvet Red
