Looks like a 2016 Night Edition to me. Has the regular 2014-2016 front end from what I see. That thing looks amazing!

I do believe this is a 2017 SRT8; as it was on the top level, I could not see the window sticker.

Very nice, but this is a 2016. 2017 was updated as seen below:

In sport mode the steering is a little stiffer and more responsive. It doesn't steer like a barge like my 14 did. I like it so much that I honestly have never bothered to try normal or comfort mode to see how they compare to my 14. My guess would be looser and probably not as responsive.

Thoughts on the "disconnected" feeling full e-steering is accused of? Any lag with quick inputs?

I don't get any disconnected feeling out of my steering and it reacts faster to quick inputs than my 14 ever did.

The last time I drove any vehicle where the steering felt disconnected were late 60's Dodge and Plymouths. So anyone who bitches about the 16's electric steering either hasn't lived or is way too young to ever have had that pleasure.

And take complaints with a grain of salt. Quite a few people complained about "Electric Steering" when they started using an electric motor to power the hydraulic pump. The mind will, for some, always find something to complain about, real or imagined.

As for the disconnect in the late '60s Chrysler products, that was real! I'm not sure the steering columns actually reached the steering box.

Thanks.
Does this mean there is a Uconnect setting for the steering mode?

Must have been nice to have about 37 exterior and a half dozen interior color options though. And a pin stripe!

There were far more color options but even better... almost every option was available as a stand alone. There were few packages. You could have it exactly like you wanted it.
