Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Does anyone have pictures or a link to the GC Trailhawk 18" and optional 20" wheels for comparison?

Also a picture of the Rhino color.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Went to my dealership on a break from work to get a free car wash and looked at a white 2017 Overland. It looked good! I will say I like the wheels. They don't blow me away, but it's a nice looking wheel. The only thing is I do still feel the 5 spoke wheel that's been on them looks a little better, or maybe that's because it's what I'm used to I don't know. The front end looks good. Another thing I'm undecided on though is the new grill. Don't get me wrong it looks good, but I'm undecided on which actually looks better if the new one does or the previous '14-'16. It's a lot of chrome going on in that area. Head on I really like how it looks as seen below, but the side angle is what I'm having a tough time on. I do like how they added the LED fogs. Overall it's a good looking vehicle. Very similar to the previous years so it's a minor update as you guys already know.

Thanks for the pics. Regarding the new fogs...by chance did you get to turn the lights on to see the color match b/w them and the headlights?

No I didn't do anything except look at the outside I didn't deal with any salesman as I'm not buying one. I was only there for a car wash. As far as the fog lights go, they are the same ones that guys have been adding to the earlier '14-'16 models and are whats been on the SRT since 2015. They are VERY bright and can be used without the headlights on and see just fine. The color is much whiter than the OEM HID bulbs so there isnt much as far as color matching, but they look very nice!

Check this thread I started for tons of pics if you haven't already seen it!

New OEM 2015 SRT LED fog lights installed in High Altitude. Pictures and install!

Yes, thanks. I have followed that thread since you put them on the first day. Just didn't know if the match was better for '17. Thanks again for the pics

I too was concerned about the white trim, but after almost 27,000 miles it is still white. Would get it again in future.

That's why I prefer my 75th...no chrome.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Looking at all the photos of the '17, I think the black grill looks best on Black, White, or Charcoal color GC. I still dont know why they didnt just color match the grill to the vehicle but it is what it is.

The photos of the white Overland above look pretty good. The '17 is rapidly growing on me, probably because its damn near identical to the MY14-16. Either way, not a bad looking rig.

Funny you mention this - good lead in for what I was just mocking up! I have already got the gloss black spider monkeys that will go on my diamond black 17 summit, looking to remove the rake as well, but was thinking something was still bothering me. Think the only other mod I'll do besides tint and the above is to black out the grille inserts to match the bottom honeycomb pieces. I put my mad (har har) photoshop skills to the test and mocked it up - think I'm feeling this a lot more than the stock look! ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1471280611.396957.jpg
