Any info would be great!

Each month as production capacity fills up for a particular model or combo, ordering is closed until the following month. This is the case with the 75th + diesel. Order banks will re-open on September 12th.

Not sold on the Trailhawk hood sticker and fuzzy seat material, would have to see first-hand to make that call. We are having the dealer search high & low for an existing Limited 75th with the goodies we want, I suppose it will come down to 'what are you willing to compromise on'. That's unfortunate when you are spending $50K

I read on here the Trailhawk will have the option to select full leather seats. The hood sticker can be removed.

Do you know when the drop-dead date is to order the last of the 75 Anniv?

Threre two levels of Bluetooth audio as well. Not sure if current radio and iPhone supports the higher throughput. And I beleive it is lossless. Called aptX and has been around for a while now. 5 years?
Understood, but frankly if your Iphone 6s Plus last for days you do not use your phone that much at all. This is a subject that comes up often and depends solely on a persons actual usage. Multiple tech sites run real world usage test on these phones and the Iphone 6s Plus comes out at about 7-10hrs on average depending on what your doing. I have a 128gb iphone 6s Plus as well and my actual daily use is around 5-7hrs, the phone would be dead every day if i did not charge it. Everyone I know with Iphones, Androids or whatever its the same thing, they have to charge their phones everyday, some people twice a day lol. I have had every iphone since 2007 and its been the same result. I follow the tech sites daily and spend probably 1-2hrs a day browsing them for the latest info on stuff such as phones, future tech ...bla bl bla.

aptX is good but requires both the sending and receiving device having it. It is no doubt better than the standard bluetooth codecs but there lossless claims are not entirely accurate. I won't go into details as google is there but the bottom line is that bluetooth is limited to its bandwidth so it has to compress audio, until that is fixed(if possible) then there will never be any lossless BT audio. In addition to there is aptx and aptx lossless codecs and most people seem to believe they have the latter on there devices, which is usually untrue. Also the last time i checked Apple only supports aptx on OSX and not on iOS.

Its all good though, no doubt that total wireless is the future, but IMO it will not be Bluetooth technology that makes it happen.

Probably early November, but I wouldn't wait until then as they could decide to cutoff earlier. Typically they will send out a "last month to order" alert to dealers.

You should get your phone looked at. Nobody I know can't make it through the day on one charge with a 6/6s/6+/6s+. Are you 14 and female by chance? That might explain it

Obviously you don't understand English since I said I have to charge it everyday. Do you have something against 14 year females?

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

The wife and I went and test drove a 2017 Ford Explorer Limited last night. Overall, not too bad. I really liked having captain seats in the 2nd row and the 3rd row option. Although I felt that for a $51,820 car that the interior was lacking. A lot of plastic everywhere and the steering wheel was hideous with a million buttons all over it. The Jeep interior just blows it away in my opinion.

I also got to use CarPlay and that is definitely a must have feature for me. It worked so amazingly well. To be able to see all of Apple Music (just not your library) was awesome. It also didn't start playing the first song in my library! Having access to your full phone including visual voicemail was great too. Receiving/sending texts was also fantastic and blows away the UConnect system that is clumsy and not great. It was also nice that you can listen to Sirius radio and use Apple Maps on screen. Overall I was super impressed with CarPlay and have to wait for it in the Jeep now. After reading some comments here about it, I was expecting it to be worthless.

I don't think I'll be getting the Explorer, but am wondering if anyone here has experience with a recent one?

Let's get straight who is an "idiot" (I'm quoting your insult).

1) Most users are NOT happy car play requires being plugged in EVERY TIME YOU GET IN THE CAR. That s$cks. And one of the reasons I don't care as much about Car Play as I did. I still would have liked the hardware upgrade though.

2) Just because you are NOT plugged in doesn't mean it has to sound like crap. Many ways to deal with that. Go read about it. uConnect "via" does it now. There is no compromise on Audio. Not everyone listens to high fidelity either. Pod Casts, Talks shows etc. will sound fine over regular bluetooth.

3) Not everyone wants Car Play for Music. One of the biggest features people want is better Navigation with apps like Google Maps that is always a fresh map, great traffic and great alternate routing. Why do I need to plug in for that? I'd love to have that on the big screen and I don't want to have to plug in to get it.

4) He said he basically plugs in EVERY time he gets in the car to keep his battery charged. So he doesn't care that Car Play requires it and nobody else should either. That's how this started. He said he gets 5-7 hours per charge (iPhone 6s-Plus). ONE group of people I know of that needs that much battery is in their teens and female. That play games and talk constantly on their phone. Most normal users of modern top end phones get through a day with out extra charging. I put a wink on the 14 year old female. He didn't get the joke. And apparently you didn't either.

Oh LOL.

Great post. I should have done the same and tested it out like you did. Maybe I could have waited longer. The 2017 Summit is so nice though.

Did you try their lane assist by chance?

Also a lot of people don't realize a really nice feature in Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze. That you can enable "HFP" (Hands Free Protocol) in those apps. Google on how to do it. That allows you to have Navigation going and Listen to Sirius Radio (or FM, USB, SD) at the same time. When a Nav direction prompt comes up it will interrupt the Radio and switch to Hands Free Protocol just like a phone call will. When the Nav prompt is done it will switch back. I use all the time. It's just that the Map is not on the big Screen
