I sat in the faux suede/leather combo at the Trailhawk's auto show debut early this year which wasn't as much to my liking and comfort unfortunately. The outside with red letter highlights and Trailhawk wheels looked as stealthy as pics people have been posting! It's the inside cabin and comforts I felt that left a bit to be desired compared to the higher models presently available.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Trailhawk is the off-road trim... Some of those creature comforts and luxuries aren't needed on the Trailhawk.

this was on Koons website. I don't know who has seen the Summit in True Blue, but I have to say it looks amazing.

My two color choices are down to Billet Silver and Velvet Red, Silver is a lock if i get a HA, either a 2016 or whenever the next one comes out. I am actually thinking about the 2017 Altitude IV model now. I keep seeing a Velvet Red 2014 or 2015 Altitude at a local store every few days and the thing looks sick, it really has me thinking about whether the extra 8-10k for a HA is even worth it. I know you get more options and all that, but really the only must have things I really want is leather and the large screen Uconnect system. Everything else is just an extra. I have not really priced out any of the older Altitudes when new so i have no idea what they sold for on average, i just know its between a Laredo and a Limited so i guess around 35k-39k depending on options. If i did get a 2017 Altitude i would max it out with every option available i guess to get it as close to a limited as possible.

Just a side note, Jeep really needs to get rid of that plastic trim around the wheel wells. I have been making an effort to look around and see how many other brands have this, be it cars, SUV's or whatever and not many have that plastic trim at all. It just makes the Laredo, Limited and now trail hawk look half as good as they really could (Summit or HA). At least on the Altitude, HA and Overland they paint them which makes it not look as cheap. But i also understand that they need to make the higher end models look different. Maybe the Laredo i could agree with, but not a 40-45k limited, those should be painted as well at least.

Blue is nice...Thinking Velvet Red Overland for me though, with Luxury Brown a very close second. (unless that black/green comes back)

You do realize that by doubting none will see dirt you are saying you believe all of them will see dirt, don't you?

FYI, the Velvet Red is new for 2016. The previous red it replaced was "Deep Cherry Red". They are similar, but the Velvet Red is much darker when not in the sun.
