Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Mine says brake service also done by Koons the day I picked it up. They probably put something in when they do the prep.

I did find a page that indicates I am subscribed to uConnect, but it isn't working. No big deal for now.

Maybe Jeep cares will figure it out.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

For those that have the 2017 Summit, I went and priced one out at the same dealer I purchased mine from (part of the group buy). Is this pricing similar to what you paid?

4x4 V6 Summit
White Exterior/Black Interior
Platinum Edition
$49,665+TTL

I recently learned that sometimes a dealer will only put in the last digits of the VIN when dealing with the maintenance records and sometimes there are other JGCs that have the same last digits. That happened with mine when I was last in for service...they were confused looking at my light blue 4x4 Overland Summit outside the window while the computer was saying it was a 4x2 white Laredo by the VIN they entered. Once they showed me the screen they were looking at, we immediately determined that the "full" VIN was different since I had my registration in my hand. So there's someone in NC that has a white 4x2 Laredo that shares the last digits of my VIN.

Hopefully that doesn't affect recall issues if I take mine in and they think it's already been completed on my Jeep. I'm guessing someone with my last four had some brake work done recently, since mine was no where near a dealer that day!

That makes sense. I just ran the invoice numbers minus 5.5% and the options you have on yours comes out to around 6k more than the one I priced out. Did you purchase yours through the Koons group buy program?

I paid $49,633 +TTL for the 2017 Summit I ordered that listed for $54,885. Only option was the $495 extra for the Siena Brown interior. But the price dose include a $750 rebate. Probably not as good as the group buys some of you get, but then I purchased from a small dealer here in rural NE Wisconsin. But what really mattered was the difference I paid trading in my 2014 Overland. Al

Sounds like you got a great deal then! Especially since its not a major dealership. The one I priced out was $55,485. Our MSRP and discounts are almost identical and I went to "group buy" dealership so you did a damn good job negotiating.

Koons was the dealer. Before tax, etc, but including incentives, it was 8.3 % below invoice.
