Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Does it look like the CRD production launch is still a GO for today?
I hope so, maybe then Jeep Australia will finally give us some info on the Australian spec MY17 Grand Cherokee

Agreed. The pictures are not flattering. Though if you select the other models, they don't seem flattering either. I think the black and white background, with silver/gray pictures don't really help anything. Then with the lack of chrome on the Altitude, it looks even more flat.

I would like to see one in person, or a real photo before I can judge.

2017 Promo Video. I just noticed that the dials for the radio/air/etc all look to be a little slimmer. Check it out at 1:03.

Also shows Adaptive Headlights that have been dropped for a while.

Our lights auto level up and down, when we start at night the lights go up and down until their level. Adaptive go left and right.

And our radio knobs stick out more that they seem to do in the video.

I though it was just the High beam "Shade" that went up and down not the lens?

It's the lens. If you start up in a dark garage each morning it is very apparent as the auto leveling goes through it's start up procedure (same shown in video) and adjusts up/down before centering.

I think that is for the high/low beam (although not 100% sure). Self-leveling thing is a separate thing.

Too much chrome on the overland and too little on the summit. They need to find a happy medium.
