I keep going back and forth between ordering a MY16 and MY17... Given that I wanted luxury brown color (production start Apr 21), I haven't ordered yet... but keep thinking I may as well wait for a MY17 given that the MY16 would be a year old by the time I get it delivered and on the road...
The gen 4 uConnect with Android/Apple integration would be the hook for my17 for me...

Is there any mention of a hud on the 2017?

I'm guessing you'll not see that as an option until at least the platform change for MY19 and then only on upper trim levels. The likely level of modification necessary to incorporate that into the vehicle probably isn't going to encourage FCA's investment for the last two years of this platform.

Not a deal killer for me, but still a shame. I miss the hud that we have in our other cars every time I drive the jeep.

I already talk too much. You guys want more?

I like not having to call unemployment.

With that said,

I like this trickle down effect going on with the mountain.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Before I decided on the '17. I requested to be kept up to date on the '16s, by mail. I made the request on Jeep.com.

I got a small brochure today with a $500 off on most Jeeps, good until May.

Just sayin'

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I was debating on waiting for a M17 or going ahead with a factory order on a M16. I received in my mail yesterday a certificate from Jeep FCA for $1000 towards a new M16 if I take delivery by the end of May. I'm not sure why I was offered more than the $500 deal you received.

That's too good a deal to pass up. I'm submitting my factory order Friday.

Would that be limited to areas over, perhaps, land?
