Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Is that new shifter/shift knob coming on any other model?

That maybe true but I would probably want the summit, Ill probably be holding off until the new platform anyway. If the new platform still has grandmas quilt for the interior Ill figure it out then and those wheels will be cycled out for the new platform anyway.

Well...you could go with the MY16...

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Milous, as someone with a 2016 Ltd EcoDiesel 75th Anniv. with ORA2 & Lux on order, can you offer a delta on functional features with the 2017 Trailhawk? Red accents and different wheels don't phase me much, but if there's an ejector seat or an extra 3" of QL height, those sorts of things might give me pause...

Thanks!

Grand Cherokee Trailhawk models are equipped with a host of standard off-road capability features, including Jeep’s Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system with rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential (ELSD) for all powertrains, a unique version of Grand Cherokee’s Quadra-Lift air suspension – developed for Trailhawk – that offers improved articulation and total suspension travel, as well as Selec-Speed Control with Hill Ascent Control. Skid plates and a Trailhawk-specific anti-glare hood decal are also standard.

Approach angles on the Jeep Grand Cherokee are 29.8 degrees or 36.1 degrees when the lower front fascia is removed for severe off-roading, while the breakover angle is 27.1 degrees and the departure angle is 22.8 degrees. Grand Cherokee Trailhawk models offer up to 10.8 inches of ground clearance.

Ugh the more I'm learning about this Trailhawk, the more I want it. Where do we think this will fall on the price scale?

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I see from the first post that True Blue will be available on Summit, that's gotta make someone happy.

Redline Red on Trailhawk will look good.

Does that also include the 3.6L, or did I miss it somewhere that the Trailhawk isn't available with the 3.6L?

Thanks. Well that's a first... a 3.6L with QDII. Should've been available all along.

Game changer. Wonder if it will eventually be offered on other trims.
