They've actually been trying to get Lane keeping (via Lane Departure Warning) on since MY14...my '14 Summit owners manual has a section on LDW that still has not hit the streets 3 yrs later...feature rollout is apparently a very fluid thing these days...

Weird how they had no trouble getting the same system up and running on the new Cherokee.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Didn't they need to roll out the electric steering before the advanced LDW would work?

For sure they did for lane "keeping" but not basic LDW.

And it was right under our noses all along - well since posting it at there website !
It also shows what the RHINO color is about, at least under the light conditions given during the Moab reveal. Does seem to have that blueish-gray (almost civil war uniform look?) . I prefer the non-glittery (pearl in the case of FCA US) paint finishes. They reflect less glare !

Rhino looks similar to the Anvil.

Most night unless there were detrimental atmospheric conditions, I could pick up WLS just north of Baltimore

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Sumit rims are definitely not my taste. I think I have seen similar style on Lexus, but they were black chrome and more stylish. With that much chrome and all the stitches on the seats it looks too busy to me. Like Jeep is trying to impress Buick drivers... I was thinking about all the new futures like park assists and lane departure are great, but very useless for me. How many time most of the people will actually use it. I will never pay a dime for them. I don't have blind spot and adaptive speed on my Overland because I like to be on control on my own. But I can use like SRT package. Think about M package on the BMW without having X5M. Why we do not have an option to get SRT style steering wheel, brembo breaks, sport trim on an Overland without buying the real SRT. I would love to get it and the cost is not an issue. Any chance this can happen in the future, like 2018 model?

You can retrofit the steering wheel and Brembo brakes into your Overland.

I know that, but why can't we get it build at the factory.
