Significant enough for its own press release?? Diesel hybrid?

Standard across the board. No change for 2017 CRD HP.

A diesel hybrid would be major news....

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I have a MY15 HA which I purchased Nov 30th. Now with just over 3,000 miles, the HA has been in service over 5 times. So far they have replaced the BCM, PCM, Power Distribution (fuse box) and the QL module which is under the driver seat.

The dealer has already mentioned that he could arrange a manufacture buyback for a new vehicle. Definitely will take advantage of this but am trying to hold off until the 17s come out. Swapping from a 15 to a 17 with a MSRP to MSRP credit is a dream come true.

I like the new Summit, other than the chrome; after seeing everyone wrap the HA chrome in this forum, I plan on going this route.

My only concern it the poor shock dampening the MY15 Summits have. Any news if Performance Shock Dampening will be included on the MY17 Summit?

I highly doubt that would ever be added to the Summit.

I agree but one thing that might slightly change that is the new lighter suspension components used for 2016. Maybe that changed the ride, who knows.. What they should do is add an adaptive suspension to the QL system.

Just get the Cali edition - no chrome in sight - even the window trim will match the satin carbon finish now

Yeah that would be the only problem going from an HA to a Summit. BIG difference in ride. My summit felt kind of floaty and more old Cadillac like, my HA feels more nimble and car like which to me was a huge deal. Love the ride of the HA! Sorry to hear about all the issues with your '15 and hope everything works out for you. My '15 is at 1800 miles and so far so good.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Man im really started to sway off of the HA Billet Silver and thinking of a HA Velvet Red pearl now. Have seen a few of those roads and they look very sharp..never thought i would consider or get a red vehicle though..

Awwwww man are you kidding me? For 2016 the High Altitude is velvet red now? That color looks sooooo good. I actually got to see a new velvet red regular Overland next to the older deep cherry and it's a pretty big difference. I bet a new High Altitude in velvet red has to look amazing!!! I thought the High Altitude stayed in deep cherry, but after a quick search you are right it's velvet.

I never followed the red colors but I imagine the deep cherry color is the on the 2014ish summit that I always see pulling into my works parking lot. It's much lighter than the velvet.

The velvet and the black accents go really well together.

Same here, never cared for any of the reds, on any vehicle. But ironically, I'm working a deal on a velvet red HA it looks too good to pass up! Just hope I don't regret not waiting for a 17
