Different strokes for different (younger) folks.

Haha! Yeah - took me a long time to come around on that look too

I did not know this. If so, I might have to just hold off on getting a 16 HA. Now I have some thinking to do.

Also curious how it will feel because of the adjusted air suspension compared to the standard air. It is a really awesome looking car though.

Also checked out the 75th anniversary and in person it is awesome. The bronze trim looks great.

Last stop was to check out the new summit - couldn't sit in it but saw the rims in person and they look much better than in pictures. The chrome wasn't shiny and the wheels actually looked great. Could see some of the new leather as well, love the gray and I have seen stitching like that on some Audi's. Not my favorite but doesn't look bad. On the gray it wasn't too offensive, I imagine on darker material it will stand out too much though.

Love the jeeps, really want to get one. My last was a 96 with 5.2L V8. I loved that car.

I'm jealous! Wonder if they will make it to the local car shows now that they have been debuted...

Scott had posted an image of the new bumper for the 17 I think was Friday. FCA made him take it down. But the render I did is pretty similar to what he posted. I would get an SRT but I just can't justify spending that much and getting the mpg that the SRT gets. It would be so much though.

I got lucky and saw it before the pull - should have taken a screenshot

Not all; check out DPReview (photo site) forums. The simplest, cleanest most straight forward forum design I've seen.

Not only does it show what post someone's responded to on a simple compact outline-style list, but it shows what posts I've already opened.
Can't easily tell that here. I like to check the 'member's rides-showoff' threads, but can never tell which I've seen before because this system bolds a thread for every new post.

Plus, on DPR, a thread is limited to 150 posts. Here it can go on forever, also making it hard to find something specific. The title to every post is listed on a single page on your screen. Here, it's quite a bulky list, maybe 5 or 6 posts per page, poster info, plus ads, etc.

This could be better.

Agree, I really dislike the endless mawing, arbitrarily shaped grilles, intakes and vents on most cars these days. Technically, cars don't even need grilles, but they're for brand ID more than actual radiator cooling.
And people seem to like obnoxious grilles and an excuse for more chrome.

I thought the same way for while, they look cheap. But after you start seeing them everywhere on new vehicles, not just jeeps they start growing on you.

What worries me about them is scratches and dings. I forget what the name is but is the aluminum infused with the paint? If I ding a curb will it show bright sliver or black? That could ugly pretty quick...

I think ideally I would want the blacked out badging and accents with the regular overland wheels on a few colors such as billet silver. But the velvet red looks much better with black wheels, I wouldn't even consider it with the standard aluminum ones.

Hey Milous Thanks for all the info! Earlier you mentioned that the Trailhawk may have red seats. Are you referring to the red stitching on the black versions or will there be a separate option for full red leather on the Trailhawk? If so, will this be a late availability item?
