So the Androids & Apples will wait; Think I saw that coming early on.

Funny about the "Ridiculously ugly" Late 90's look of those 5" models ! Ugh, my dealer (upper manager/commercial sales) had told me the smaller screens would be "gone soon" ! That was 2 years ago . . . of course he didn't say from what models or Brands - i.e.; the 6.5" in the 500x.

So,Milous, can't help but to refresh your brain about any thing on LAREDO E OR LIMITED MODELS - FOR EXAMPLE; Front Facia Styling (smiley face or 75th like ?) Interior cloth colors / design (same ole' or 75th like ?)

Those are the Biggies in my decision making of 2016 75th Laredo or 2017 Laredo E . . . . Can You Help on this yet ? Thanks

It will be a hard call if I wait, jump ship (I hear the Explorer has Android Auto on the 17's), or capitulate and do without it for another five years if it doesn't make it on MY17. I really like the interior improvements though on MY17 summit, as well as lane keeping.

Hey here's a thought . . . "They keep Us on This path and we won't be able to think for OurSelves ! ! !"

I lasted 6 months in my 2015 Explorer. Immediately went back to Jeep.

I'll order in June if CarPlay makes it by then - willing to wait for that

Different strokes for different (younger) folks.
Black wheels also looks to me like the wheels are covered in brake dust. Not for me.

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

OK I admit that I am the odd man out here but my quibble with Jeep and quite frankly most of the car companies is not too much chrome or the style of the wheels or trim details but rather the colors that they offer in the SUV lines. They all remind me of a stroll through a rental car lot. You have refrigerator white, coal black, silver gray, dark gray, blue gray, and a red metallic ( thankfully) . What I would really like is the ability to order " color to spec" and would certainly be willing to pay extra for it. Seems like they would be happy to pick up an extra 2 or 3 thousand for painting a GC a different color.
Failing that how about offering some vibrant colors like the hydro blue pearl coat that we ordered on our Wrangler Unlimited or the B5 blue that they offer on the Challengers or the Itallian Racing Red like Jaguar. I am getting the impression that Jeep assumes if you are an SUV buyer you must only like boring colors.
I did see a Mercedes SUV in a very pretty vibrant green metallic today as I drove past the the dealership today so perhaps their at least some alternatives. End of rant

Sounds like you should check out Audi. I believe you can custom order an Audi with many different interior and exterior color options.
