Hi Milous!

Will the seats in the 2017 Trailhawk GC be available as well in the Overland leather perforated trim in addition to a more refined leather dash and stitched leather shifter? I saw the Trailhawk at the auto show last weekend and while I liked the updated exterior and features and of course powder coated red tow hooks, I found the interior non leather suede inserts rather bland and not as comfortable. It felt more cloth like to us. Other than Trailhawk badge on steering along with red stitching on wheel, arm rests and center console, it felt less refined and very basic Laredo like inside. You do get all of the off road controls with air suspension, ELSP, skid plates, trail rated badge, etc. Am hoping they'll consider offering a more upscale interior as an upgrade option. Is CarPlay definitely coming to this and all other 2017 GC's? Also will Diesel definitely be an available option for the Trailhawk as I'm reading conflicting reports on this. Sadly the auto show featured no Overlands, only the new Summit and Trailhawks. Thanks again for all of your amazing follow up here in the threads

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Went to my local dealership today just to see what they had for colors to aide my 2017 choice.

I was initially dead set on billet silver until last week when I saw a few velvet red high altitudes and they looked very very nice. Luckily the dealership I went to today happened to have both high altitude colors mentioned above right next to each other!

The red actually let me down a bit this time, it is a cloudy day here so the red looked really bland/muddy and nothing like it does in the sun like the few I have seen around town.

After seeing it I will probably pass on the velvet red now and go billet, unless it's a sunny day when I buy and ones in the parking lot I guess

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I have to test drive a Jeep this month to get $50 worth of movie tickets and concessions. I'm hoping they have something on the lot in Ivory tri-coat, even if it's not a Jeep.

Jeep is plugging Batman v Superman.

Been checking online occasionally to see if I can track down an Ivory GC pic - no luck so far

You would think with a production start of 3/1 that one would have rolled off the line by now . I think I'm leaning towards the new black, so ready to see what that will look like too. Never owned a black vehicle, so may be time to mix it up - hope I don't regret the upkeep - lol

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

All,

Regarding the upcoming 2017 Trailhawk - I certainly understand the reason behind the full hood black decal but it's got to go for me.

Is that a DIY project or should I let the dealership's body shop remove it? Will removing it leave any permanent marks on the hood?

Can I order from the factory a hood decal "delete" option?

Will the next gen Uconnect be available at launch?

thanks!

What's up with that ? Not a question, just an observation for your own (private) thought ! By now most know I am NOT a luxury kind of guy,

"Overly-business-ness" of those other vehicles !

I love making up word phrases ! Recon Green here I come !

Funny that you made this comment in reference to something I said, yet I've bought TWO GC's and you are currently driving a Dodge - glass houses

Not sure about decal delete.
You could probably have the dealer toss in in the deal to remove..wait till absolutely last to bring it up when sealing the deal..
I removed one on a cherokee..hair dryer and a can of 3m adhesive remover..still have a lot left in 1 can I used
