Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Milous,

Whenever you can find out, you'll probably let us know, my question is then...what color bezels, color wood applique, and color stitching will the 2017 WK2 Overland have for the black interior option?
Also, will there be a special edition based off of the Overland for 2017 MY?

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Just a quick question ...

When I finally test the V6 HA, and if it ends up not having enough power for me, am I correct in saying that the regular overland with the V8 will be the same price roughly?

I am hoping going if from my 5.7 Durango with a 5 speed to the v6 with 8 speed that the difference lwill end up being neglible for the most part....hoping that is.

No way I could justify getting a HA with V8 for around 52k or so at the end price.

I went from a 2012 Grand Cherokee 5.7 to a 2015 High Altitude V6. I think the V6 with the 8 speed transmission is plenty fast and I can accelerate as well as I need to to outmaneuver every car on the road except someone driving extremely aggressively who I wouldn't mess with even if I had the SRT. Be sure to get the Harmon Kardon stereo/speakers, it's totally worth it.

Greta thanks,

The HK systems is one of my main reasons for getting it.

Also I really like the adaptive cruise, blind spot monitoring mirrors, and rear cross detection that the High Altitude package includes. It's also got front park sensors and headlight washers which are OK and work well but not a necessity for me anyway.

My 16 HA doesn't have headlight washers... at least none that I'm aware of.

You might want to look a little closer. Every picture I've seen of a 16 HA has the little square cut out in the black plastic under the headlights, just like my Summit. My guess is all HA have washers.

My 14 Overland had the square cutouts under the headlights with no washers, same with my 16 HA. Washers are on a Summit, not on an Overland. These "cutouts" on the Overlands are just filler pieces.

My bad. I didn't realize they all had the cutouts.
