Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I'm at 12 years and coming up on 200k in my current Yukon, and I hope to get the same out of this Jeep. So I don't want to buy one with a non-replaceable AM radio when I know FM is coming out any minute now.

Exactly my thoughts as well. I am not going to pay a loan for 5 years and then 1yr into it they release Carplay on the 2018 models, or even worse half way through the 2017 models.

It is even worse than that - a lot of other similar cars already have FM. Just the flagship of Jeep doesn't

I like this line:
"New: Refreshed grilles for Trailhawk, Summit and SRT"

-because I dislike the new grille design on Summit (looks like throwback to 2013) and it won't be on the Overland, Limited, Laredo.

Except for the fact that they have showed the new grill design and it is essentially the 75th anniversary which was only available as a Laredo/Limited......

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Green is a color that Jeep just can't settle down on. It seems that whenever they offer it, it's always a different shade. The only green I ever liked was on my 02... Onyx Green Pearlcoat. Every other shade did nothing for me.

This: Grand Cherokees have just enough of a mean look to them that they avoid both of those labels.

That is why I love my current GC. It is not your soccer mom SUV. It has an aggressive enough look that makes it, for lack of a better word, manly. Plus its very easy to make it your own with a few mods. I have never been a car guy, always SUVs. The other SUVs in the market dont really grab my attention as much as the GC or the XC90 do. I would prefer the Jeep. So maybe it will get the updated radio by the time I am really looking to update at the end of the year.
Thats what i'm thinking, my current lease is up in December 2016...fingers crossed

Re: 2017 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

The Volvo looks nice but the issues its having terrifies me and the fact you can't get it with a factory tow pkg turns me off...

The new front bumper of the summit has peaked my interest.
