Re: 2017 Jeep Compass

I would say front and side were nearly identical

my 2011 compass fdii limited

my 2015 wk2

The back taillights differ, but the top "spoiler" and everything else are pretty close.

Obviously everyone has different opinions. I think both cars exterior were almost identical and I love the look of the 2017 Compass too.

Re: 2017 Jeep Compass

The old Compass's proportions are all wrong, while the GC's proportions are just right -- that's part of its magic.

If anything the older Compass resembles the 2011-2013 WK2 much more than the 2014+. The fact that they literally used the same headlights (Laredo) IMO sucks. Who would want a major part such as a headlight to be shared by the cheapest vehicle in its lineup? I'm glad they changed that starting in 2014.

That front on shot does indeed look VERY similar...infact, way to similar! I know they keep similar looks between the lineup, but for them to look almost like the exact same vehicle isn't cool. Atleast from all the other angles they differ significantly.

I think anyone who installed the aftermarket Compass headlamps in their 2011-2013 WK2 appreciates the interchangeability. I know what you mean, but I'm not really a fan of the exclusivity arguments.
