Not a fan of the diamond stitching either. My in-laws just bought a new Explorer Platinum with the same stitching and it looks even worse.

That trailhawk looks awesome. I'd give up my '14 Summit for that.

That was posted yesterday in the 2017 sticky thread up above. Good news!

while I'm not crazy about the "quilted" pattern I otherwise love the interior... blue and grey two of my favorite colors.

I actually love the light grey "dove" color. But I wouldn't pay five grand for it. To me, it's disappointing that a light colored interior is FINALLY offered in the Summit and one has to mortgage one of their kids to acquire it. Black and dark brown are total non-starters for me...I wouldn't take them even with a "substantial" extra discount. But that's me...

If I have to pay extra for the light colored interior I truly want, that means other vehicle options start to come into play when I'm ready for a new ride in a few years.

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and Summit Footage

To each his own, I guess. It's I previously had a light grey interior on a MB vehicle and a light brown interior on a Ford and Dodge vehicle. It's nice when new, but a pain to maintain the leather seats. The blue jeans rubbing their colour are just too much sight over time. So now I stick to black to pretend there isn't any to clean.

yeah I agree I have dealt with them before also. They are like having a vehicle with black paint on the exterior, they look good clean but keeping them that way can be a chore depending on how you use them.

I agree Jim. almost every manufacturer has an available light colored interior on their top models without a 5K+ extra. I understand it's Laguna leather and all that hoop-lah but.. it is still nice to look at lol.

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and Summit Footage

Ive said it once and ill say it a thousand times more, put the overland light beige interior into the summit!!

They have all the parts. All they would need to do is change the stitching on the seats to say "Summit" instead of "Overland". Would be an incredibly cost efficient way for them to offer the lighter interior on their higher end vehicle.

Customers are happy, Jeep is happy. Its a win-win!
